IMO this is a smokescreen. Something big is about to break and they need something to muddy the waters. They are hoping people swallow the bait. The media is going to talk about this nonstop and try to make Trump supporters look foolish for believing this.
The tests were supposedly done by - I think it was the Star- some tabloid then owned by friend and supporter of Clinton. Subsequent owner confirmed to Roger Stone that nosuch test was done.

There is a Scientology angle to Primary Colors. I can’t remember the details but the gist was that John travolta was given access by a Clinton crony in order to lighten up the story.

Even if it isn’t actually his son, the story brings further attention to Bill’s deplorable history with other women. Just raising the question will open additional doors into his deplorable past.
The clintons can stop the FBI from bringing charges... they can change the DNA to prove otherwise.
The clintons have a way of discouraging any bad press.... for all those years.
