Saudi Arabia could reduce valuable security and intelligence cooperation with longstanding ally Washington after a Congressional stab in the back allowing 9/11 victims to sue the kingdom, experts warn.
Cutting such cooperation is among the options available to Riyadh after Congress voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday to override President Barack Obamas veto of the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA).
Im afraid that this bill will have dire strategic implications for the United States, Salman al-Ansari, the president of the Saudi American Public Relation Affairs Committee (SAPRAC), told AFP.

An Oil Embargo??
Dump US Bonds?
I’m SURE they believe that the candidate they own, Hillary Clinton will take care of that for them.

Seems like, if the Saudis had nothing to do with 9-11, then they should have nothing to worry about.

Dear Saudi Arabia, When the US walks in and takes your oil fields what are you going to do about it?

Do not threaten us Saudi Arabia. This American would have zero problem with a U.S. invasion of your country and seizing all of your assets and creating a forward base within the Middle East. The rest would fall into our control very quickly.

An Oil Embargo??
Is Saudi Arabia willing to cut off its nose to spite its face? A complete cessation of production would be needed to make pressure, as oil is fungible.

Dire implications?
They are going to cut off the heavy flow of money to our politicians?
To: tekrat
That's a foolish reaction. All the Saudis need to do is not show up for any scheduled court date, have a summary judgment made against them and then refuse to pay the judgment.Assuming that the Saudi government doesn't have any property in this country that's not protected by "diplomatic immunity" they don't have any real problem.
Of course I'm not suggesting that that strategy is the decent way to go.
To: tekrat
We should tell the Saudis if they do that “you are on your on” because they had relied on the US since they became a country for commerce and defense so they can go and pound sand>

If America severs our relationship with the Islamofascist Saudi fanatics America will go through some rough waters but every Saudi prince would likely be impoverished and/or be hunted down and slaughtered by their own citizens and their neighbors.
Keep threatening us you worthless murdering fanatics who just happen to be lucky enough to sit on an oil resource you are too primitive and backward to even be able to pull out of the ground yourselves.
