That's a foolish reaction.All the Saudis need to do is not show up for any scheduled court date,have a summary judgment made against them and then refuse to pay the judgment.Assuming that the Saudi government doesn't have any property in this country that's not protected by "diplomatic immunity" they don't have any real problem.
Of course I'm not suggesting that that strategy is the decent way to go.

Unfortunately, they do have a lot of property here that isn’t covered by any immunity from seizure of any kind. For me, seeing Saudi Arabia as a glowing pile of nuclear rubble would be the best day of my life! Two ground zeroes, Mecca and Medina.

I agree. One would think they would just ignore the congressional law as they will never pay anything outright. However I believe their assets in our country could be seized and I suspect that is their greater concern.
