Thursday, September 22, 2016 With the first presidential debate coming on Monday, Donald Trump has moved to a five-point lead over Hillary Clinton, his biggest advantage since mid-July. The latest Rasmussen Reports weekly White House Watch telephone and online survey finds Trump with 44% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Clintons 39%. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson earns eight percent (8%) of the vote, while Green Party nominee Jill Stein holds steady at two percent (2%). Three percent (3%) like some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are still undecided.

This is an atypical election, to say the least.
I think there are going to be an awful lot of voters who are looking for an alternative to Hillary Clinton, but are unwilling to vote for Donald Trump.
I would not be at all surprised to see these numbers hold, and for the independent candidates to garner at least 10% of the vote.
Of course, you can't blame me, because I am going to vote for Kodos!
Despite the hundreds of millions of dollars that Trump opponents have spent on negative anti-Trump ads (compared to Trump spending nearly zero) and despite the 24/7 beatdown on Trump by the mainstream media - the most vicious and relentless assault on a presidential candidate in the history of the world - it is Trump that is in the lead.
Over the next few weeks, it will move to a landslide. Relish the next six weeks - it is a once in a lifetime opportunity that we get a candidate like this. America will be made great again. Not since 1980 have I felt this optimistic.
C'mon haiku guy - you have to speak in haiku!
If Trump can pick up NY many other blue states my rollover. Similar to Obama in 2008. Everyone wants to have voted for the winner. Polls are closed on the east coast hours before the west. Could be a done deal before California and Hawaii. Here’s dreaming.
Why isn’t anybody covering this point They’re all talking about the ABC Washington post poll which has Clinton leading by 2
Sure it’s included... in the 4 way. It’s not included inter 2 2way (Ras doesn’t do a 2way, why should anyone?)
Now don’t be catty...
I reside in NY..Unfortunately NYC and one county upstate hold the power to The Rats maintaining control. Although I pray for a turn around, too many folks here are brainwashed into thinking this Shillary’s person is the right choice.

A wonderful meal
Corrupt Hillary is a lying, sick old crook who accepts bribes and betrays our country. Everything in that sentence is well documented. She lies even when the truth would serve her better. Everything she says or does must be treated with the utmost suspicion.
He’s got Trump at 260!!!!? Seriously?
Her husband squeaked into office with 43% of the vote—this is no time to get over confident.
I’ve been polled twice this week and am voting for Hillary.
There’s got to be others doing the same thing to skew the polls.
They are in the RCP average - just the 4 way average, not the head to head since Rasmussen doesn’t poll head to head. That said, the original guy left a few years ago.
That’s why you were polled twice.
Does RCP even report a 4-Way average?
Do they think Stein and Johnson are just going to go away?
I wouldn’t trust nevertrumper baier to lead a kindergarten class to lunch. He’d get sidetracked brown nosing at the principal’s office.
