The first Sunday of the regular season coincided with the 15th anniversary of 9/11. And while there were still some demonstrations from NFL players during the national anthem, at least one team refrained on that day but wont in Week Two.
Everybody wants to be a part of it and I feel like its no different on our team, Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins told Glen Macnow of WIP in Philadelphia on Friday, via CSNPhilly.com. We got guys, especially myself, who feel very strongly about the topic. Last week, we talked about doing some stuff, but we wanted to make sure we didnt do anything to take away from the folks, the families, that suffered from 9-11. We didnt want to mess with that day, so we left last week alone. But moving forward, Im sure there will be guys that will probably join in.

It’s rather eaglets
Do your demonstrations on your own time. The NFL is not your personal soap box!
What boycott? The masses want their Bread & Circuses.
If he keeps dropping $300,000+ on custom RR convertibles he’ll be broke as soon as he’s out of the NFL.
I believe the perp was convicted in a gang rape in 2009.
Damn. That’s what I was going to write.
“Kim Kardashian. She is known for the substantial size of her gluteus maximus muscles, so large they have been assigned their own zip code and are believed to have an independent weather system.”
And are so wide, she has to carry euros in one pocket, and pesos in the other.
At least she’s better looking than any NFL player.
Do the anthem before they come on the field, take away their platform. Simple solution to this idiocy.
BOYCOTT the NFL.
DONT WATCH.
Well.... How about a list of sponsors for members of the team.... make the dollars painful.
Turn off the NFL like millions of us have now done. No more of this crappy product.
Philadelphia fans don’t have the greatest reputation, and they aren’t especially known for their tolerance and goodwill toward mankind.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this destroys the NFL franchise there.
Damn them all, turn it off already. They can burn for all I care.
The NFL isn't going anywhere. It's way too big to boycott. I haven't watched a game this year, and may not. But those of us who are disgusted with the NFL will barely make a dent. We're like The Mouse That Roared.
Yup...
So long NFL... and at this point. Good riddance
I'll watch on antenna TV so there's no record of it. And I'll make a list of companies that advertise during the game. As much as possible, I won't buy their products.
