A group of students and parents from Minnesota filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the federal government and their school district for allowing a transgender student who was born male but identifies as female into the girls locker rooms, showers, and restrooms.
The lawsuit is the latest in a series of challenges to the Obama administrations bathroom mandate issued in May that requires public schools and universities nationwide to give transgender students full access to school facilities based on their gender identity instead of their biological sex. Schools that do not comply with the administrations guidance could face legal action or loss of federal funding.
The lawsuit was filed by the conservative nonprofit Alliance Defending Freedom representing concerned parents and students who formed a group called Privacy Matters. The group is suing over Minnesotas Virginia Public Schools policy for transgender students, arguing that the current policy is an invasion of personal privacy.
According to the complaint, a transgender student in Duluth, Minnesota, was allowed to enter the girls locker room and would dance in a sexually explicit mannertwerking, grinding, and dancing like he was on a stripper pole to songs with explicit lyrics, including Milkshake by Kelis.
On another occasion, the complaint noted, a female student saw the male student lift his dress to reveal his underwear while grinding to the music.
School policies should promote the rights and safety of every student, but thats not what Virginia Public Schools is doingand its certainly not what the departments of Education and Justice are doing, said Gary McCaleb, a lawyer with Alliance Defending Freedom.

Follow the money. Fed dollars (stolen from the states) is doled back only if the states tow the line. You can thank Nixon for beginning the Imperial Presidency and most of the egregious alphabet agencies, though Carter birthed the Department of Education.
Meanwhile, home schooling is becoming more popular. Parents are not happy with LGBTQXYZ indoctrination or crazy bathroom rules according to an article I recently read.
The only way this stops is if parents pull their kids out. I doubt the courts will be of any help.
Nova Classical school in Minnesota lost students (parents pulled their kids out just weeks before the school year ended) and their waiting list diminished because parents of a gender confused five year old demanded that the school indoctrinate students with books on transgender kids — parents have the gall to dictate to a school what their curriculum should be? The school eventually sided with the parents of the girl and told the other parents that they were bigots (a really stupid thing to do).
The parents pulled their daughter out because of all the hostility and brought a lawsuit against the school
The Sheeple aren't that interested.
Wake patriots up by encouraging them to read Free Republic. They can then exercise their voting muscle to politically force the corrupt federal government back into its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited power cage.
The other parents were obviously Deplorables.
Well, the town of Virginia, Minnesota got it right, anyhow. Most of the town is obviously Deplorable.
That’s Deplorable! );-)
But Personal Privacy (TM) stems from the 14th Amendment, don’tcha know (Roe v. Wade).
Ain’t I Deplorable?
What you said . . . THAT'S DEPLORABLE!!! ):-D

How about paper ballots, counted at the precinct level in front of poll watchers from each candidate on the ballot? Picture ID, paper ballots, poll watchers, and armed security to preserve the sanctity of the ballot.
No ID, no vote, no watchers, no count until they are present. Our voting rights are to valuable to be squandered by laziness.
I once participated in a particularly rancorous local union election where I counted the ballots, There were over 1,000 ballots, with nine offices on each ballot. I can tell you, I was watched VERY carefully for mistakes. I admit that I made a couple, but I was called on them immediately. I am happy to say, that not everyone was happy with the outcome, but no one could find fault with the process.
After the count, the ballots were sealed and given to an independent secure storage facility for safekeeping. No one ever called for a recount.
The counting process took about fourteen hours and was hard on my voice, but the sanctity of the ballot was worth it.
I guess I wandered off topic, but the importance of the free election is foremost in my mind right now. I believe the paper ballot, with the proper safeguards, allows for the fewest chances of fraud.
That will let us find out how important it is to go in the girls bathroom. It seems to me these perverts would enjoy going some place where everyone thinks they are "purty".
For years now we have been trying to get even one member of the ruling political class in Maine to introduce that as legislation, but to no avail.
