One of the more eyebrow-raising stories from the Clinton Foundation pay to play scandal is Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain whose kingdom donated up to $150,000 directly to the Foundation, plus another $32 million to the Clinton Global Initiative securing a meeting with the Secretary of State, after which she approved some highly controversial arms sales to Bahrain.

Included among the Abedin-Band emails is an exchange revealing that when Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain requested a meeting with Secretary of State Clinton, he was forced to go through the Clinton Foundation for an appointment. Abedin advised Band that when she went through normal channels at State, Clinton declined to meet. After Band intervened, however, the meeting was set up within forty-eight hours.

and, as many have come to realize, without the “S”,
either. We have found more than one treasonous government critter.
POST # 3. You nailed it. Exactly.
Those who have time to dig through all these emails should be looking for the slime trail of Sid Vicious Blumenthal. He’s Hillary’s agent-at-large, out there snuffling up ‘deals’ that make him and the Clintons fabulously wealthy from selling the treasure and security of the US to 3rd world despots.
Haha...first laugh of my day
Wouldn’t surprise me if ISIS didn’t end up with some of the weapons. They are getting weapons from someone.
Socrates injunction: "Know thyself." That is us. Don't like it. Well changing yourself is hard work.
Pay to Play!
I did a little research into Bahrain:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/2636478/posts?page=2025#2025
It appears to be a moderate, prosperous, and forward-thinking nation albeit the people there are rabidly violent against Jews [like all muslim states].
So for those who think highly of Bahrain, it would STILL be evil to coerce their prince into BRIBING a US civil servant!
That hurts our prestige. Is that the way to build strong, lasting relations with other nations??????
but CNN keeps saying that there was not any favors done in return for the millions given to her charity which only gives 10”% to charity
The U.S. 5th Fleet is based in Bahrain. Bahrain hates Iran. Bahrain is considered Middle East-lite.
‘pepsi on ice’ asked:
Correct me if Im wrong, but wasnt the State Department the sole agency holding up the approval of the XXL pipeline deal. Did the Saudis pay Hillary to stall that as well?

I know it’s dump on her for whatever we can, but you know damn well that money filtered to obama and beyond...
Where’s that investigation ?
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
imo, it’s not just limited to obammy.
I think the corrupt money in DC politix can dirty up 3-4 potus and a whole lotta congress critters past & present.
therefore: no investigation.
that’s why they’re all scared of trump
Just wait for her foundation’s contributions if/when she’s POTUS.
btt
Quid pro quo. You want your fleet in Bahrain. You sell us arms. And we make a contribution. A win-win for everyone but the American taxpayer. And integrity.
If this was ANY other politician, it would be a career ending story.
According to the article: "Clinton and the rest of the Obama Administration gave numerous speeches about the importance of political freedom, but then, after a year of queasy hesitation, sold weapons to Bahrain, which conducted a brutal crackdown on dissenters and human-rights activists."
This is blatant corruption of the worst kind and people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
However, be careful about trusting the media with “moderate Muslim nation cracks down on dissenters” stories. For many of these nations the people they are cracking down on are the ISIS wannabes or the Muslim brotherhood. As we saw in the “Arab Spring” the new boss was often far worse than the “old boss”. Just throwing that out there.
Now do this 85 times for each donor meeting and it’s plea bargain time, no need to have a trial.
