A prominently displayed bulletin board at Appalachian State University has been taken over by campus collectivists in an effort to encourage certain students to check their privilege during their daily walk to class.
The board is displayed in the Plemmons Student Union building, which ASU calls the centerpiece of the Appalachian campus. The board contains various different posters that condemn white, male, cisgender, heterosexual, Christian, and able-bodied persons who are unaware of their inherent societal privilege.

Privilege Labeling = Hate Speech
And a healthy male hasn’t taken the postings down yet? Not a female in sight either? (since by proxy they are being attacked also)
The pathethic thing about displays and language such as this is, they are probably created by people who have zip heritage in the USA.
When are the parents going to put their foot down and sue the schools?
The word “privilege” is the new “n@@@er”. You have license to respond accordingly. I recommend the teeth for a necklace.
They would, but the welfare system they all depend on would collapse.
They can stop wearing white clothing designs and styles. Stop straightening their hair and coloring it abnormally. Stop using video games, watching dvds, listening to media players, washing machines, microwaves, the american diet, sodas, all modern alcohol, cars, anything with a battery,....
Their lives would be so much better without all those white man inventions and conveniences.
I have never been to Boone, NC, but I was curious about what kind of place it is, so I looked it up. It was named for Daniel Boone. Every summer for over sixty years the town has presented “Horn In the West,” a dramatization of early white settlement in the area. There are about 17,000 residents in Boone, 93% of them white. It is a venue for a lot of bluegrass music and Doc Watson performed there frequently. Coming in October is “Dinner with Dan’el.”
I want to visit Boone some day.
How do the SJW snowflakes wind up in such a town in the first place? Isn’t every day a living hell for them? Do they ever venture off campus into such a threatening environment?
Boone is an island of ASU academic groupthink surrounded by a sea of sane mountain folks.
I think this is a joke. However, Appalachian State has been showing up on sites where Marxist/radicals have been active during the past few years.
It might only a handful, but if you add in black racists, their numbers become significant.
How about a board/sign that says “Check your racism Lefty”
I hope they meet the same fate as the University of Missouri. Declining enrolment, a drop in alumni donations, and budget cuts.
I’m with #7 ... it is past time to exercise my “white privilege” by extending my supply of ammo. The “white privilege” part is where the guy behind the counter taking my order doesn’t bat an eyelash while writing up “10 cases 9mm 115gr NATO”.
How about check your entitlement...
Messages like “anti white racism is no different than anti black racism” could also be effective. Force them to argue against that.
Be patient. That’s their end goal.
Tough.
They are active at East Tennessee State University, as well. They call themselves 'progressives'. Know your enemy.
It is time for complete separation of school and state on every level from Pre-K through university graduate school.
It is **impossible** to have a politically, culturally, and religiously neutral education. Such a state of philosophic neutrality can **not** exist in the mind of any sentient human. When government runs or subsidizes education the NON-neutral worldview of the most politically powerful will be promoted and that of the non-politically powerful will be trashed.
Fundamentally, government run or subsidized schooling is a First Amendment and freedom of conscience abomination!
