On Wednesdays CNN New Day, Chris Cuomo brought on CNN commentator, author and host of BET News Marc Lamont Hill and former Secret Service agent and current candidate for congress in Florida Dan Bongino, to discuss Trump polling poorly with African-Americans. While Bongino argued that democrat run cities have failed black communities, Lamont Hill claimed that poverty and Democrat machines are connected, but that doesnt mean being a Democrat makes you poor.
After Cuomo brought up a new ABC News/WSJ poll that predicted only one percent of blacks would vote for Trump, he asked Bongino why Trump was unable to make the case to blacks that their Democrat-run communities would only keep them in poverty. Bongino responded:
DAN BONGINO: Yeah, you know, Chris, this is one of the great mysteries of my life. If I was granted omnipotence by the Lord tomorrow to change one thing, it would be to be able to walk into the black community and largely in inner cities and say, please, look at what's happening here. I mean, these communities have been ruled monopolistically by far left big government liberals for decades. In some cases since the '20s and '30s. These communities have been driven into the ground. I mean, you don't have to be a scientist to look at the evidence, the correlational evidence right in front of you. Liberalism correlates with poverty and high crime every single place it's been tried. Yet, you have some members of the black community which support the democratic party, which continues to bankrupt them. I wish I could change it. I wish the Trump campaign could as well.
Marc Lamont Hill took offense to that, wincing then claiming there was [N]othing far left about Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, at which Bongino, flabbergasted, asked, What?

Uproariously funny without intending to be. I used to think that old reruns of “Dragnet” were kind of like that until I discovered modern Democrats.
“LAMONT, YOU BIG DUMMY!”
....Fred Sanford
Years ago when I watched Bill O’Reilly I think this is the guy Bill would have on just to make fun of
Criminals/collectives/gangs/governments/progressives/punks/POS’s/socialists/scumbags/’rats/RINOS/tyrants/totalitarians are to blame for every human problem any individual has encountered.
Lament Hill ALERT!
A fast talking idiot is still an idiot.
Hmmm....
Mao
Hugo
Castro
etc...
Etc...
Etc...
Hill is an idiot.
Every day, Lamont looks at the sky and wonders what that bright thing is.
They blame Republicans.
He’s the poster child for the dumbed down Obamunist voter.
Marc Lamont Hill’s mouth runs so fast that it has long since outstripped his feeble brain’s vain attempts to keep up with it. In fact, I believe that his brain has long since ceased to be functional. How this idiot ever got to be a “professor” is one of life’s mysteries!
Lamont is a classic case of affirmative action.
I would posit to Mr. Hill;
If a political party’s power is derived from being the “Party of the Poor”, then is it not in that party’s best interest to insure that the “ poor” stay that way and increase in numbers as much as possible?
... ...........
“Every day, Lamont looks at the sky and wonders what that bright thing is.”
And like lawyers, judges, professors, and dumb $hit self-absorbed DemoRats, he uses his middle name thinking that somehow that it shows he’s better than the rest of us when the truth is just the opposite.
It’s called AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.
I thought everybody knew that.
Just because Lamont has a PhD doesn’t mean he’s smart.
And actually I maybe should not have made that sort of reference to “Dragnet” as these cities could certainly do well to have modern day dedicated Joe Fridays and Bill Gannons and Frank Smiths in their police departments.
There is some truth in what he said. The problem isn’t how they vote per se, it’s the mindset that accompanies that voting pattern. Although I know many exceptions, as a group, blacks lack both the mindset and personal virtues (self-reliance, thrift, work ethic) for success. That has nothing to do with their skin color and everything to do with black culture and their attitudes about parenting and family, law, work, education, etc. It’s also a massive indictment of black churches. Nothing will change until they accept responsibility for their own successes and failures. They must understand that no man can get ahead by government handout. They must come to realize that welfare plantation life does nothing but beat them down. While they may think the answer is more redistribution, but in reality that way of life robs them of initiative and pride.
