Not long ago, Becky Deen Tai would never have imagined herself attending a civic meeting about police officers’ treatment of African Americans.
She’d grown up a white girl in a family with roots in the Deep South, and only recently had become “more aware of how unaware I am,” she said, later recalling her astonishment at learning via social media that black mothers often lecture their sons on how to avoid being targeted by law enforcement.

I’ve actually noticed more and more racism being displayed in the attitudes of white people I know. The cause is seeing all the black people acting out in youtube videos, and burning down their own neighborhoods over a just jury verdict.
What a lot of people don’t think about is there are two things you can glean from all those “cops vs black guy” traffic stops on youtube where it comes out badly for the black guy. The one side is the “Mean” cop. But the other is, “Why is that black guy fighting with the cops? Who does that? No wonder they shot him.”
As more and more of this “blacks acting badly” stuff is being watched by people of all races, there is more and more “background” racism against blacks sprouting up all over.
The sad part is, just as these videos give a skewed perception of the police, they also give a skewed perception of blacks. That may be comforting, but irrelevant if most people don’t see it that way.
We are a sick society that rails against 'racism' all the while promoting it against whites.

A good starting point would be to not commit crimes, not act thuggish, and don’t adopt a “’tude” with police officers.
I was at a “sensitivity training” session for teachers in Brooklyn, NY back in the late ‘80’s and we were being asked to consider how we behave (in terms of our body language) when we see a group of young black males coming our way. The group leader asked, “Do you tense up? You women, do you hold your bag just a little tighter?” One of the black females present responded, “I know I do!”
The knockout game should wake a few up.
Someone who doesn't know me at all, has never even met me nor heard of me, nor anything I've said nor done... Yet they would not hesitate to call me racist. They're basing that solely on *my* race? Hmmm, making assumptions about someone based on their race...that's a pretty good definition of racism right there.
The sad thing is, the activists (aka agitators) and "leaders" spewing this nonesense are doing so knowing full well it is complete BS. They don't care, they want the power, they want the chaos. The sheep following them, swallowing this cr... brown stinky stuff? They are either genuinely stupid, let's face it, half the population is in fact below average... Or they are just plain ignorant of the facts and too distracted to bother educating themselves. The MSM certainly isn't going to feed them the truth and educate them. These are the easily swayed, gullible masses. The ones who would not just willingly chase a Pokemon onto a rail car to Auschwitz, they'd be glad they caught it.
Do those mothers happen to mention that the best way to avoid being targeted by police is not to break the law, not to be a jackass in your interactions with the police, and not to hang out with people who do?

We are waking up to racism.
We are waking up to the fact that increasingly we are VICTIMS of racism. At the hands of whacked-out deranged black leftists like the BLM crowd and, dare I say, Barack Hussein Obama.
A far, far cry from what Dr. King’s vision was.
I honestly think that “the talk” that black mothers and fathers have with their young sons is a contributing factor to the resistance to police typified in all these “resisting a LEO” videos/episodes we’re seeing. Honestly, if you are told/reminded regularly, “Now, I want you to watch out when talking to police. You be careful! Don’t you give them a reason to think you’re dangerous. They might overreact just like they did with (fill in the blank),” you are going to be uptight, wondering if your “day” has arrived.
“The talk” immediately puts them on high alert (justified or not) and that will affect behavior.
The other side of the coin is this. When whites walking down the street/in the mall/wherever are confronted by a group of young black youths, they will (these days) have their radar activated (people here talk about having your head on a swivel/be aware of your surroundings all the time). This influences body language. Body language projects outward and people pick up on it. I’ve heard groups of young black males walking in the mall commenting to each other “Did you see how scared that (fill in your favorite epithet here) looked!” I’ve seen young black males walking around trying to create fear in whites as they pass by. This “dance,” while, perhaps, momentarily satisfying for young black males, actually serves to further the separation/intensify the suspicions.

The problems in the black culture have to be fixed from within the black culture.
All we can do is pray that those black Christians would wake up and see this for themselves and become very proactive in combating and speaking out against racism of ANY kind.
And I mean REAL Christians, not black liberation theology. They need to evangelize their own community. It's a mission field right on their own doorstep.
