Technology investor Peter Thiel implored Republicans from the convention stage on Thursday against waging "culture wars" on lesbian, gay and transgender communities, mere days after the GOP approved a national platform that defines marriage as between one man and one woman. Thiel, who himself is gay, stressed that "every American has a unique identity." He said attempts to require transgender Americans to use particular bathrooms is a "distraction from our real problem." And in a first for a GOP convention, the Facebook board member and PayPal co-founder drew attention to his own sexuality: "I am proud to be gay, I am proud to be a Republican, but most of all, I am proud to be an American," he said.

>>sigh ok teacher...
You figure out what moral standards are yet smartass?
“All things, whatsoever ye would that men should do unto
you, do ye even so unto them.”
“Do unto others as ye would have them do unto you.”
Peace.
“What does my attitude have to do with the USSC justices?”
It’s simple, if we concede permanent defeat because of a temporary situation, we have ensured that the temporary situation becomes permanent. That’s what an attitude like yours leads to.
AMEN!!! I tried to make this point last night on another thread... sadly I had to back off because so many here now just don’t get it.
God will ONLY bless a nation who honors’
HIM!!!
Life on the well watered plain is good; is it not?
Didn't you people learn ANYTHING from the smoke of SODOM?

>>The problem isnt forgetting to repent - its REFUSING to repent and perverting forgiveness into permission.
That is certainly a problem. But it’s also an extreme case. The typical homosexual does not think in terms of forgiveness or permission. They believe that their particular sin of choice is “natural” and that means that it was ordained by God (for the homosexuals who claim to be Christian). But the majority are Christian Existentialists at best, and most likely Nihilists or even Naturalists who adhere to some form of Cultural Christianity.
But, what about the other people who REFUSE to repent for their favorite sin? There are a million ways to sin and only one way to righteous in the face of God and just one sin stains you irrevocably if you are trying to make it on your own works—and works includes some ridiculous sin-repent-sin cycle.
Sad.
A lot get the idea that “you don’t tug on Superman’s cape”,
but can’t figure out that God CANNOT be mocked.
Democrats are no longer into the live and let live mode and have gotten to: “Christian, change your values or you will be destroyed.” Sorry, but that’s unacceptable.
That’s why we need a President who will put pro-life justices on the Supreme Court. Trump has said that he will. The Republicans have done some great things on state levels as well. If Trump appoints multiple pro-life justices, we can possibly get this overturned. George Bush gave us two pro-life Supreme Court justices.
When you say the culture war is lost, Democrats cheer with joy. Why do you think they want us to move past the culture wars? If we lost, then they have nothing to worry about, right?
Money wise yes. But to an outdoor person like me not so much. Way too hot to think of doing anything outside unless you like being covered in sweat at 7am.
Way too many wackos here...on both sides of the spectrum.
I didn’t know that. I heard he’s a Bilderberger too. I think it’s great when gays buck the line that they are supposed to be Democrats and vote Republican anyway. However, he used his speech to advocate for the bathroom law and told us to move past the culture wars. He’s one of those moderates who wishes the conservative wing of the party would take a hike. The Republican Party supports traditional marriage and is pro-life. We welcome people who disagree, but the basic ideals of the party shouldn’t change. It would be like if a pro-life, pro-traditional marriage Republican got up there at the Dem convention and told them to move past culture wars. Would that happen? If it did, they certainly wouldn’t talk of modifying their positions.
Reluctantly, I am compelled to agree with you based on facts and reality. I use Paypal (Thiel’s creation) a lot. It protects my credit card number staying private, and Paypal provides insurance on eBay deals. Great product!
If Thiel and his resources are backing Trump, Thiel is doing a favor to the Trump agenda of turning this ship called USA around. We are at extremely critical juncture based on situation at SCOTUS. If Hillary gets to nominate the next 3 or 4 justices, we can all forget about all Christian values for 40 years.
Trump mentioning the unborn is not as important as who gets to nominate 3 or 4 SCOTUS replacements and vacancies.
>>But its also an extreme case.
It’s not extreme at all.
It’s the typical, perverted, doctrine that has been manufactured by the covetous spirit of anti-Christ that is openly operating within the purview of multiple denominations that have sanctioned and “normalized” the homosexual abomination of nature.
Who do you think is performing all those queer “weddings”?
>>Its the typical, perverted, doctrine that has been manufactured by the covetous spirit of anti-Christ that is openly operating within the purview of multiple denominations that have sanctioned and normalized the homosexual abomination of nature.
I agree. Stay away from those denominations. I left one 3 years ago and they still haven’t “officially” endorsed gay marriage and clergy. But the simple fact that they would consider doing it was enough for me to leave.
But, Target does not teach worldviews to people. It doesn’t take their children on youth trips. It doesn’t claim to be the body of Christ.
>>But, Target does not teach worldviews to people.
LOL. Evidently you don’t understand advertising any better than you understand doctrine.
>>LOL. Evidently you dont understand advertising any better than you understand doctrine.
It’s really sad that your pride is so great that discussion is impossible.
Put a sock in your silly vociferous pie hole.
Your “discussion” is full of inconsistency.
