Donald Trump Talks About Melania's Speech to George Stephanopoulos | Speechwriter came to Donald Trump and said she made a mistake and he rejected her resignation.

What is striking is that Stephanopoulos seemed surprised Trump was willing to overlook the speech issue. He was almost dazed by Trump's response and was willing to let it go. Compared to what Hillary has done, this Melania speech thing is nothing especially when you actually read the passages that were supposed to have been copied. It was not word for word. It was an expression of similar sentiments.

What is noteworthy is how Trump diffused this non issue and how Stephanopoulos was willing to accept Trump at his word and drop it all together. Really amazing how Trump tames the press and always seems to turn negatives into positives.

Well, considering Melania believed in her speech and Moochelle didn’t believe in her 2008 speech, it certainly wasn’t plagiarized in spirit.

I still think that Melania’s speech came off so well, that this was a deliberate attempt to degrade Melania so Michelle could look better. Did not work. Michelle is a nasty personality with no redeeming qualities. Melania buries her.

While listening to Rush on Tuesday ,,, Rush revealed that Moochelle had stole those lines from her 2008 speech from none other Elizabeth Dole . Rush even played Liz Doles speeches where she said those exact words first .

I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery .

The Icon of the left, JFK stole his, Ask Not" quote too. The world and its politics have been around for a looooong time. Someone is certain to have opined something like it in the past. Its only a mater of research.

I’m astonished that Stepho seemed so compliant about it all..thought he would bark on and on, like the Cuomo interview with Manafort. This interview shows Trump’s great strength and media’s oily weakness.
