Trump could have won Cruz’s backing but wouldn’t own up to his personal attacks. A small public gesture could have smoothed things over.

I never fully trusted him because of a funny thing. Somehow Cruz lost his Texas accent if he ever even had one to begin with. Becoming a Texan at age 4 means he should sound it ( if you move to Brooklyn at age 4 you *will* sound like Vinnie Barbarino ). To my ears he is not Texan or even Southern. It's a petty little thing but a red flag to me.
Cruz is SCUM and now will never be on the US Supreme Court.... certainly he will never be President. He is on some egomaniacal personal crusade that has made him tens of millions of enemies in his own party. His national career is toast, he can crawl into a deep hole in Texas.... or better yet, Canada.
His wiki page already makes mention of him being booed last night.

I agree. You have to be somewhat likable to win the presidency. Cruz is a jerk. Trump has a certain flair and likability; he’s a showman but he’s entertaining in a lighthearted way and comes across as a genuine person despite his wealth. He’s not on an ideological crusade. He just wants to make the country better. I think people get that.
He is using his family as an excuse. I do not believe him. He and his surrogates started the attack on Trump and his wife, and his home, the state of New York... He is being disingenuous.
MOST folks in Texas now see Ted Cruz for what he truly is, a two-faced, self absorbed, lying sac of chicken shyte. serving his masters who serve the father of lies a murderer fromt he start. That's why CNN now loves your Cruz. You want to defend that, go ahead. You will have shown where your heart is, and that isn't with America.

Cruz and his ilk will claim that there are other choices out there other that Hillary and Trump. Their plan is to throw enough support to Gary Johnson to sink Trump.

Ted brings up this often. Why do the moderators let it pass without pointing out the fact that Ted attacked Melania FIRST, by releasing photos of her during her modeling career. They never mention that Ted fired the first shot.

Especially when a PAC that supported Cruz attacked Trump’s wife first. Cruz’s response was I didn’t personally attack your wife Donald. The correct response should have been, I personally denounce the attack leveled against Melania. While I have very little doubt that Donald played a role in the National Enquirer story, he was completely justified in my opinion. However, it could have just been that the owner of National Enquirer, and a friend of Trump, decided on his own to go ahead and release the story in retaliation to Cruz and his smug reply. Either way, I loved it when it came out and cared less if it was true or not. Another victory for Trump against the sleaze bag.
Yup. The Bushes and Romney and Kristol etc have already planned on the Gary Johnson option since everything else failed.
Cruz is doing their globalist bidding. He doesn’t give 2 craps about the family he rarely spends time with.
