It’s called self immolation. July 20th 2016 will go down in Cruz family history as that moment when Ted Cruz detonated his career suicide belt and created the #NeverCruz movement.
Forget the non endorsement, that’s not the issue. Senator Cruz had a remarkable opportunity, he blew it. Cruz accepted an invitation to speak to the GOP convention then insulted the audience. Cruz couldn’t rise above his own brutal ego and petty selfishness. The arrogance simply went too far, he humiliated himself in front of millions.

He sure seemed to be a Mormon during the Utah primary. I thought Romney had converted him.

I watched the Cruz speech on Youtube today. Mr. Cruz spoke with confidence, clarity and puffy weasel words. “When we are old and grey, we will look back...”, “My father came to America with a hundred dollars...”
Yawn. It seems as if Cruz gave a lame speech on purpose to spite the crowd. If so, then he is a sore loser.
I half wonder if Cruz will glide over to the other convention to join with Hillery.

I do wish that people would have left Heidi alone. I don’t think she deserved that - sorry, if anyone disagrees, but, she was just in the audience.
He’s not running as a Republican after this. He almost has to run as a Democrat.
