Trump plans to saddle his veep with most of the duties of being president. Because why not?
Anyone looking to tune in to the Republican National Convention this week to hear from the man the GOP is seeking to send to Washington to run the country needs to adjust their DVRs, because that speech won't be given by Republican presidential nominee and apocalyptic circus peanut Donald Trump on Thursday. Rather, it will be given by the party's vice-presidential nominee, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, on Wednesday night.
So what gives? Well, it's not entirely surprising. See, Trump has, throughout his campaign, made it clear that he believes that being president is a really easy job - no sweat for him! But if you want to get a sense of just how easy Trump imagines the office to be, you should check out the Robert Drapers account of how Trump came to select Pence as his running mate in The New York Times Magazine. It begins with Trump's eldest son making a back-channel overture to Ohio governor John Kasich, offering him the chance to be Trump's running mate:

We read all about this in the New York Times ... so you can all rest assured that it's true!
0% chance Trump offered Kasick anything but his middle finger!
Yet again, LIBs prove that they are seriously mentally ill. What hog wash.
Kasich is lying/blackmailing Trump’s campaign to pay off his effing campaign debts. That is all.
I drew a picture of a monkey at a desk in photoshop at my old job and the boss put it on the bulletin.
for some reason we would die laughing every time we passed it. I think mine was scratching his head though.
These are such WEAK ####ING stories!!!!!
borrowed a few lines. Pence will really be in charge?!?!
like i’ve said before, i’m a worrier and even i’m not worried about this nonsense.
Yeah, Trump went through all this effort to put his feet up and pull an Obama.
NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
Cruz blew it.
Jason Linkins = Clown shoes.
Right because Trump amassed $10 billion taking the easy way out. /Sarcasm
Reagan delegated well.
Dick Cheney was a very capable President.
How much is Arianna Huffington being paid by Soros? Doesn’t she have enough money already?
Well we all know what Biden’s job is..scratching Obama’s a@@..no wonder Biden’s fingers always smell
Isn’t that what they used to say about Cheney?
Reagan delegated well, in general.
Here we go again. Fantasy writer without the hobbits’
Huffington Post fail.
“See, Trump has, throughout his campaign, made it clear that he believes that being president is a really easy job - no sweat for him!”
I guess the idea of actually accomplishing things, working hard and doing what you say is so foreign to these leftist POS morons that they can’t conceive of anyone ELSE actually doing it.
NOthing wrong with Trump setting an agenda with broad goals and having Pence implement it.
