Last night Jeff Sessions bravely gave a speech that touched on free trade, the wall, NAFTA and the shrinking industrial base of the USA.
I've been watching for over an hour so far and Faux Friends has ignored the only speaker with the same views as Trump on these the most critical of issues.
Faux News is in the bag of the Cheap Labor Express.

If you have DirectTV, channel #347. No running commentary or interruptions by talking heads.

My Cspan would time out and I would have to click OK every so often. Maybe you need to refresh and start their timer over right before someone comes on that you really want to hear.

I had to turnoff fox because it was all about them. Direct tv channel 437 runs the whole convention live without commentary. What a relief!!

Ailes is losing power and the Murdoch bros are gaining, James Murdoch’s wife works for The Clinton foundation.

We don’t have cable any more so watched the entire convention live on our computer from a Phoenix TV station. It was great - good audio and no commercials.

Fox was absolutely horrific last night, I wound up watching it on CNN.

I really am surprised there are Freepers who view the convention through the media's lens. I want to hear the speakers, not the bloviating media spinners muting out or talking over the speakers.
To: jersey117
Agree absolutely. Tonight I will be watching rightside.broadcasting for a live stream of every word of the convention.
Last night was shameful by the media. After months and months of hype about 23/7 coverage by FOX and CNN, etc. None of them fully presented the most important convention speeches of generations.
Not only that, the ego stuffed talking heads only wanted to hear the sounds of their own words and critiques instead of the speakers. Never been so disgusted with political coverage.

I think the GOP should close out the convention by rerunning Melania’s speech in its entirety, with Melania saying at the end, that she thanks Michelle for inspiring the single “controversial” paragraph and wishes the Obamas a a happy future in Hawaii.

My post is referring to the day after morning show on Fox. Every speaker was talked about and reviewed/analyzed in depth. Except Sessions he was ignored.

Yes, the CSPAN coverage was refreshingly pure.

Really? That’s an unfortunate tidbit I wasn’t familiar with.

Watching the convention coverage on FOX I wondered why viewers watching a Republican national convention have to listen to Democrats critique any the speakers or the convention itself. I switched to CSPAN after my son called to discuss the Bengazi segment and I realized there was a better place to be than FOX. My son also remarked that of all the people he had respected before the unveiling of their real allegiance to the uniparty and democrats, Britt Hume is the biggest disappointment. The bulk of FOX news persons have an anti Trump agenda probably driven by their paycheck from their leftist employers. Ailes is also an employee and the station he built into the leader of dependable and honest reporting no longer lives up to that reputation. Hannity and Greta and a handful of others still have my respect but for the most part I just do not tune in to FOX without a particular reason.

Senator Sessions is my state’s best senator and I personally believe he is better than any of the others in the senate. He is a solid conservative and Christian man. I’d take 5 of him over thousands and thousands, okay let’s make that billions of Klinton’s, Obama’s or any other of the commies. I wish he could be president, but since he doesn’t lie enough, he couldn’t be president.

Sessions gave a great speech but the hall was mostly quiet. There were many applause lines that didn't draw any applause, just dead silence. GOPe doesn't understand that free trade does not mean suicide. Trumps approach to trade deals is what we need.
