Same here (sort of). I'm currently temporarily registered Republican so that I could vote in the local Republican primary (mainly for a friend who is running for County Commissioner). I was about to switch back to Unaffiliated; but if the Republican Party can be evolved back into what, for lack of a better term, would be an American party, I might stay Republican.
On the other hand I'm in Colorado; where the world-famous corruption and imbecility of Republicans from rank-and-file to top management was on display again yesterday.

So glad he brought that up and brought up the fact that our nation has forgotten God. He’s the only one who said it, and it needs to be said.
