The nation’s war over gender roles and sexuality is moving from banquet halls, bakeries and bathrooms into a new arena: birth certificates.
In courthouses across Florida, judges are being asked to decide whether transgender people may change not only the name on their birth certificate, but also their “gender marker,” or the box that designates their sex. The requests have become increasingly common, say lawyers who litigate such cases.

Seems to have been a lot of talk about birth certificates since a certain individual took up residence in the White House.
I demand the right to change the date of my birth. You should have the right to be a senior citizen and collect social security as soon as you feel like it. If you are 25 but feel 70 then you should be able to get social security and Medicare.
If you disagree then you are an ageaphobic bigot!

The birth certificate identifies sex, not gender. Since their sex really matches their chromosomes, rather than their mood that day, the birth certificate was correct at birth, is still correct, and should not be changed.

The only men who should have their birth certificates marked as “female” are those who have a genetic condition that prevents development of most male characteristics. However, there is no need to make a law to accommodate them. Their birth certificates already list them as female, since they most likely have no idea about their true gender until they go to the doctor to find out why they are not going through puberty at the appropriate age.
A repercussion of this is that you could see flocks of young men changing their gender on their birth certificate to get out of registering for the Selective Service.

No, just student of history. I see it like a giant wheel. You study the patterns in the rut behind the wheel, then you examine the wheel tread that’s coming down. That’s all it is. Patterns repeat.
They move along to the next level of absurdity and depravity. It never ends because they can never convert a lie into the truth.
What kind of character would validate such falsehood, identifying a man as a woman? Same as would identify lead as gold, or snake oil as cure. As long as someone is willing to believe a lie, reality is as malleable as imagination.
