The University of Virginia (right), the location of the infamously fabricated gang-rape story printed in Rolling Stone last year, has found itself in the spotlight again thanks to another allegation of sexual assault - but this time the events surrounding the alleged rape are all too real. Sophomore volleyball player Haley Lind (left) believes she was raped at a UVA house party on August 22, 2015. The freshman athlete she was with swears it was all consensual. Both have been left distraught. And the UVA says there's just not enough evidence to do anything about it, The Washington Post reported.

Can’t have it both ways....blaming the other party for your own bad behavior doesn’t cut it
If liberals truly believed in a rape culture, and alcohol is known to be a contributing factor to rape both by emboldening the men and leaving women more vulnerable, then liberals would fight the drinking on college campuses.
But they won’t even fight the mentally ill men in dresses (75%+ of whom are biologically intact) gaining right to spaces sexually segregated for women’s safety and comfort. And they ignore the certain abuse of such access by would be predators and voyeurs.

My daughter is a varsity athelete at a Power 5 conference school.
I shared this story with her. She rolled her eyes and told me that drunken volleyball players are the worst.
Her suitemate last year was a gymnist. The girl had a revolving door of boys parading into her bedroom.

I'm not trying to absolve him for his behavior, I'm just pointing out that this is not solely his fault, and that's how these things usually get played.
The young lady woman had equal responsibility for her own actions, she is not a victim, and apparently the judge agreed.
About 30 years ago I sold a good used car to a young doctor who was new to the area.
He said part of his job was volunteering at the local clinic.
He was amazed at the number of college girls who turned up there with STD’s.
He did a quick study and determined that there was a much higher rate of STD’s among freshman and sophomore white girls than among the freshman and sophomore boys.
The other fact he dredged up was that the occurance of STD’s among the college girls matched, nearly perfectly, the STD rate among the local black male population.
And he knew these girls were from well to do families because of the schools they went to.
No low rent white trash just young, rich white girls with jungle fever.
Ahem!
Arrest them both for underage drinking along with those who furnished the alcohol. That might put the fear of God in a few of them. Cite the school, too.
