If Trump Picks This Guy for VP, It’s All Over For Him

“U.S. won’t ‘collapse’ because of same-sex marriage and abortion.” — Lt. General Michael Flynn

Evangelicals are already reluctant to vote for Trump. The only thing that’s giving many of them pause is seeing Hillary Clinton sworn in as President in January 2017.

I view Trump as a way to rid our nation of the Clintons once and for all. We may actually end up with a working Congress if Trump is elected. That’s a good thing. No one will be able to pull either the race or woman card when Congress opposes something unconstitutional Trump does.

Trump could blow any chance he has by picking a pro-abortion/pro-same-sex marriage VP. The following was written by David Lane of the American Renewal Project:

Barring some unforeseen events; you have two choices, vote for Trump or watch Hillary finish the job of destroying the country. I see you are content to watch Hillary ruin the USA. You are not a patriotic American nor a conservative if you will not do what ever is legally possible to prevent Hillary from becoming president of the USA. You NeverTrump ers make me sick, you’re worse than the rats that elected zero.

I know I won't vote for Trump if he picks one of the enemy as a running mate. Imagine a Democrat one heartbeat away from the Presidency in a Trump administration.

Yeah - so much better to help a true and known evil get elected than to take a chance on a factor that might not be as one would prefer. It's the "principled conservative Christians" that seem to be a major factor in allowing the worst possible evil in while smugly claiming that their lack of discernment in the matter makes them superior in the matter.

Many of these principled folks also seem to be the ones that don't donate to FR and probably have never sent a dime to a political candidate in their life - all the while bitching about who we get to choose from....

Your logic fails. If you don’t vote for Trump, you will be voting for a democrat, whether you push the button for Hillary or not.

The election is not going to be about those issues, it is going to be about the survival of the nation as a nation.

So, the Social conservatives are going to see the most radical abortionist in history (next to Obama) get elected instead.

You guys need to grow up.

Trump was never going to choose Quinn. Trump already has Quinn earmarked for some other defense related post. He will get a position though, if for no other reason than to stick it to Obama for firing Quinn who took Obama on over War policy in the Middle East.

I voted for Romney, and would again. I have posted now four times in this thread that I will vote for Trump. It seems that I am not the one with the tender feelings. It seems that supporting Trump with my vote isn’t enough for some of his supporters. I agree that no candidate is perfect, and just because some of us supported other people in the primary doesn’t mean we thought they were perfect only that we liked them better as candidates, something you should get over.

Regarding the discussion of Trump’s VP it is not sour grapes to discuss who would bring strength to his ticket knowing what his flaws may be. Some conservatives would probably like a candidate with conservative social values on the ticket. Whether justified or not some voters feel that is a weak point for him. Supporters of Trump who are offended when he is criticized do our candidate no favors. You want to make friends with people who are on the fence (not myself) not alienate them further by calling them “butthurt”

I know. It’s face palm around here. We are up against the final destruction of the Constitution, where to get any of the U.S. Of A. Back will mean many of our children will die, and some FReepers are writhing in agony over two social issues that are here to stay forever.

Gay marriage is toothpaste that is never going back into the tube. You don’t have to like it. But the veep choice shouldn’t necessitate that the guy says off the bat that he is going to put toothpaste back in a tube, he’s going to seal all broken bird eggs.

Abortion. All of these evangelicals voted for George W. Bush. Hey. He was against abortion, right? Well, he was against abortion for everyone else, maybe. He caused an abortion in the worst way for the worst reason.* So even if your beloved candidate says he is pro-life, it is MEANINGLESS.

People, forget those issues. Let’s attempt to save our country from the globalist oligarchy who rul us right now.

*when W was living in a certain condo complex for young adult rich kids, it was party party all the time. He was being groomed for politics, working on campaigns, etc. Whoopsie, one of his girlfriends gets knocked up. He calls his friend in utter desperation. His friend calms him down, says he knows a doctor, another kid of wealthy parentage. What this doctor does is “diagnose a miscarriage” for the girl, and give her a D&C. Which is an abortion, if a living baby is in the uterus when they “scrape out the lining.”

Worst of all is that all the friends went to care for her in the hospital when she was devastated, including the people who told, this story and found the right doc. BUT BUSH NEVER SPOKE TO HER AGAIN. Dropped her like a hot potato, no doubt at Poppy’s insistence. The girl, woman now, admits she had the D&C, and that Bush never spoke to her again. She won’t admit to the pregnancy.

So don’t trust a politician anyway.

Are you on the right site here, Romulus?

There is no need to disparage and name-call a woman who is very likely American’s MOST brilliant female stateswoman, Sarah Palin, on this conservative website.

The Godless communists have succeeded in convincing the sheeple that she is the name you have called her.

That is the company you are in when you join their Smear and Demean Campaign against her.

Let me start by saying I will vote for Trump. Now let me explain why abortion matters and why pro-life voters have been hesitant to endorse him. Two words, Planned Parenthood. During his primary campaign Trump stated that while he disagrees with abortion ( yes this is a very good thing) he believes that in other ways they do wonderful work. They do not. Today, the senate once again voted down funding for Zika virus. Why you ask?, because the democrats are insisting that Planned Parenthood have access to that money. Giving this organization tax payer money to profit from abortions off of Zika virus (in addition to being morally repugnant) takes the money away from where it is most needed ( research etc.) Please also, don’t forget the body parts scandal. Is the murder and selling of our own children really something we are just supposed to accept and live with? I repeat, I will vote for Trump, because we all know Hillary is the greatest Planned Parenthood supporter anywhere, but I pray that Mr. Trump as president will rethink his opinion of this evil organization. I pray that as a country we don’t forget the unborn lives murdered every day.

>>Unfortunately I did not understand the true nature of the Fabian uni-party system (bipartisanship) at that time.

Don’t feel bad, Ichabod. I would venture to say 99% of the rest of didn’t realize it at the time, either.

It took the emergence of a bold, brave, selfless, courageous leader to expose them and make us see we were played for decades.

Now that we know, and God gave us this last chance to do something about it, it seems reasonable that every true patriot who loves his country and family will work to their maximum to help and support DJT to win and restore America to its once great Christian nation status.

Cheers,
RWL

I am thrilled He is giving us one last chance to save our country.

I know that you know that He’s got us in His Hands.

Yes, but I’m not convinced it’s really from the Trump team, because the return emails always say GOP@gop.com.

So, I sent them an UNSUBSCRIBE request and told them I don’t trust them because they are Globalists, and I will only deal with DJT DIRECTLY.

Despite repeated Unsubscribe requests, they are still spamming me multiple times throughout the day, trying to get me to give $ to the GOP, not DJT. Reminds me of other’s posts relating how another candidate did the same thing to them.

>>Reagan was threatened with non-support from the Party if he didn’t accept Bush. If the GOPe can accept HILLARY, do you think they had any problem with CARTER?

As JFK paid with his life for his choice of LBJ, Reagan almost paid with his life for his choice of Bush. Nancy went to her grave believing that Bush tried to off her husband. And she was right.

Thank you so much for stating this in your post, Arthur. It’s something so many readers either have never heard, or refuse to believe.

But we know, puzzle pieces fit perfectly together considering what you have written!

Thank you, Arthur!

Oh, don’t get me wrong. Planned Parenthood needs to be shut down for its foul practices, and NOT RECEIVE ANY TAX DOLLARS AT ALL.

Abortion matters to me. Where it counts. Where the decision is made to end the life. We need to reach people and help them understand it’s murder. If Roe v Wade were overturned, many docs would do what Bush’s abortion doc did. Or there would be the back alley docs like there were in the 1950s. It’s more a moral issue, not a legal one.

I know how precious every embryo is and my life proves it. I “adopted” an unwanted embryo and she is my daughter, the love of my life.

Given the increasingly small difference between Democrats’ and Republicans’ actual voting positions* in DC, if his US National Defense positions bolster a strong border and reduced immigration, I would still vote for Trump.

*Not to be confused with conservative GOP platform positions (which the GOP seems to ignore as soon as the election is over).

Example:
For me, tho Senator Mark Kirk has done many things to upset me, Kirk’s outright refusal to endorse Trump is the last straw—I won’t vote for him, and if Tammy Duckworth (Dem. Vet) wins, little difference between her and Kirk.

Disgusted with the whole DC GOPe bunch!

If Trump sticks to his supreme court nominees, I don’t see how the vp choice makes all that much difference on the pro life issue. Presidents and vice presidents can’t overturn roe vs wade. I still think economy/immigration/Islam are our greatest threats.
I would prefer a non-lawyer, non-establishment. I also don’t understand all the talk of needing someone who knows there way around congress. Trump has Sessions and Newt on his side to fill him in on procedural stuff.
As far as I’m concerned whoever will get the most votes and is not a leftist/globalist would be best.
