Confirmed – Philando Castile Was an Armed Robbery Suspect
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 07-08-2016 | Sundance

The Falcon Heights, Minnesota police shooting of Philando Castile is based around an entirely false narrative. Castile and Ms. Diamond Reynolds (Facebook video uploader) were pulled over by police because Castile matched a BOLO Alert for an armed robbery suspect from four days prior

How do you be a Crips gang member and hold the same job at an elementary school for 15 years? Some people believe everything they read on the internet.

And I don't know what you have to pass to work at a school, but for hospitals they fingerprint and drug test you...

He had two arrests for possession of narcotics. Illegal narcotics AND a firearm were in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop.

Gee, if I didn’t know better I would think the cops just harassed him because he was black.

No, it's pretty obvious that Castile resembled the robbery suspect on the video. "Black" only enters into this because the suspect and Castile were both black.

But, Castile didn't know that and didn't realize the officer was afraid he might be dangerous. And the officer probably didn't know Castile was a CCW holder.

In my state, a CHL holder is required to notify the officer, if armed. It also shows up on the license status when an officer runs a warrant check. I don't know the requirement in MN -- perhaps someone can provide that information.

I think there was some miscommunication, that turned out tragically. Rather than trying to assign blame, I'd rather see training on both sides (CCW holders and police officers) to prevent escalation in a similar situation.

That's what is done in my state, and there hasn't been any accidental shootings like this.

She (Diamond Reynolds) continued to describe where she was and asked her sister to pick her up from the police station. “We had a busted tail light and we have some weed in the car. "

You think weed is a narcotic?? Too funny.

News flash. It is legal in several states and we are working that route here in Michigan too.

This is your “PROOF”

It's as good, and better, than the "proof" that Castile committed a robbery, or was a gang member.

Schedule I

Schedule I drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. Schedule I drugs are the most dangerous drugs of all the drug schedules with potentially severe psychological or physical dependence. Some examples of Schedule I drugs are:

heroin, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), marijuana (cannabis), 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (ecstasy), methaqualone, and peyote

Lots of young people out there suffering from the ongoing effects of the Obama economy.

Yep. Quick story. A number of years ago I pulled into a fast-food parking lot.Through the window I could see an employee, a young black man, arguing with a manager. I didn't want to walk into a fight, but then again I was hungry.

So I entered the store. It turns out the employee was upset because he wanted to work more hours, but the manager had none to give him.

this thug had enough encounters with the law to know that when the cop told him dont reach... dont reach... and he ignored the order...
so he has a gun ....

OK SO YOU’RE THE COP ARE YOU GOING TO WAIT AND SEE WHAT HE PULLS OUT...

he totally matched the picture in the store robbery
and did not have a ccw permit....

GF said he told cop he had a permit. I have followed this story and think the cop was wrong - dead wrong. I read there is dash can video but it hasn’t been released. Not surprised.

GF said he told cop he had a permit.

After the shooting. But, she also said that Castile announced he was armed. We can't be sure of the sequence without a recording BEFORE the shooting.

I have followed this story and think the cop was wrong - dead wrong.

I think mistakes were made, but most likely by both sides. That's why I'm not trying to assign blame -- I'd rather see measures to prevent it from occurring again.

I read there is dash can video but it hasn’t been released. Not surprised.

I don't know if the dashcam video will be very helpful, since Castile never got out of the vehicle, and was probably out of the field of view.

Two cops involved so maybe two separate dash cams. Hope they are released.

Not talking about the legal definition. Never even mentioned that. I'm referring to this event, this story, the mechanics of a traffic stop when a "suspected armed robbery" is believed to be in a vehicle. Real life stuff which occurred here.

Once again, if cops believe an "Armed robbery suspect" is in a vehicle, they will initiate a "Felony traffic stop". End of story.

Didn't happen here did it?

Everyone is correct.

Again, I am talking about real life stuff here, not some legal definition in a book some where.

Then let me ask you an honest question faucetman.

If your in a patrol unit and believe you're making a traffic stop with an, "Armed robbery suspect" inside, are you going to simply stroll up to the window and politely asked to see his ID and registration?

Not only that, many cops have tiny wireless microphones clipped to their uniforms which are connected to the dash cams via low power transmitters. These are good up to about 50 to 100 feet, depending on conditions, obstructions etc.

The magistrate began by detailing a crime that had been committed the night before and explained I looked like the suspect

Since you have all the details, what was the alleged crime?

Innocent until proven guilty.

There are way too many police shootings, all protected by “qualified immunity”. This is a potential threat to all law abiding citizens. We should all be concerned.

Prayers to Mr. Castile’s family.
