FBI director James Comey would not comment Thursday when asked directly by Congress, under oath, whether his department is still investigating Hillary Clinton in connection with possible corruption related to the Clinton Foundation. Comey had announced Tuesday that he would not recommend prosecuting Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information, despite the fact that her behavior was “extremely careless.”
However, Comey did not say anything about investigation into the Clinton Foundation, which now still appears to be ongoing.
That investigation involves suspicions that the former Secretary of State abused her role to solicit donations for her family’s private charity — including donations from some foreign governments.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz, chair of the House Committee on Government Oversight and Reform, asked: “Did you look at the Clinton Foundation?”
Comey responded: “I’m not going to comment on the existence or non-existince of any other investigations.”
He also said he would not answer whether the Clinton Foundation was “tied into” the investigation of Clinton’s email server.

The FBI needs to investigate that also.
I answered this right here on FreeRepublic some time after the Benghazi incident when stories of the private e-mail server began to make their way into the media reports about the incident.
U.S. foreign policy -- and even military and intelligence assets -- have been sold to corporate and foreign interests for years. The U.S. military and the CIA have been functioning as mercenaries for anyone who is willing to pay U.S. government officials for their services. This is why every major U.S. military campaign and covert intelligence operation in the last 25+ years has been carried out for the benefit of: (1) real estate investment partners of the Bush family, and (2) donors to the Clinton Foundation.
I hope you're strong enough to handle the loss of whatever delusional sense of patriotism you may have had before reading this.

Just dangling the carrot in front of the Republicans. All the while he knows that he will wrap up the “investigation” after thousands of manhours have been spent on it and dozens of witnesses have been deposed with the conclusion that, even though Hillary’s sale of access to the State Dept appears shady, it is just coincidence that millions of dollars flowed into the Clinton Foundation and their personal accounts from foreign governments and businesses seeking favorable rulings form the State Dept.

IN the 60’s, disestablishmentarianism was the longest word in the dictionary. I think it has been usurped these days by hordes of medical terms.
Comey could have easily said there was no investigation into the Foundation if there was none, there would be no reason not to. So his refusal to answer either way basically confirms that one does exist.

The classic Clintoon fake is to cover up a major crime with a much, much smaller crime, then let the sheeple get into a frenzy over the smaller one and possibly even admit to it. But never have any meaningful consequences to the lesser crime. Lied under oath? No problem, we’ll disbar you since you will be making millions on the lecture circuit and by selling access. You weren’t going to be practicing law anyway.

I’m pretty sure that in addition, the CF was making money from gunrunning - selling illegal arms to the highest bidder. I’m also pretty sure that that’s what Benghazi was all about at the core of it.
