Nigel Farage has told a session of the European Parliament that "the little people" had rejected "big politics" in order "to get their country back".

I’m so happy and proud for our British friends. I hope we “little people” get a victory in November.
I expect the elites will find a way to nullify this referendum.
They are people who don’t give up. They solve “problems” to get what they want.
These are people who didn’t get where they are in life by just saying “oh, OK, I guess I’ll just have to do it your way.”
In the past, they’ve started wars that killed millions to get what they wanted.
Love that graphic! Says everything!
That is an incredibly fantastic political cartoon. Absolutely breathtaking in its magnificent portrayal of a vast political landscape in a single work of art.
Ben Garrison deserves a Hugo Boss Prize.
This has been over exaggerated to keep them in, 2 years to leave...didn’t work, pay their ‘union’ bills on top of your own, for more productive members...
Lesson, get in deals with the socialist and you will pay their expenses.
Ha, I missed the mermaid before.
Brilliant! Love all the little details in that cartoon.
From Farage's remarks and (even more so) the audience's responses, it sounds like the EU Parliament is more interested in political control of member states than free trade. The latter is a pretense for establishing the former; and they won't be happy with just the latter.
I expect the elites will find a way to nullify this referendum.
They are already openly talking about an EEC type set up that Norway has. That includes full freedom of movement from the EU, piles of EU regs and a tribute to Brussels. Little better than what they have now.
The EU will fail, or there will be another European “civil war”.
I didn’t see the mermaid until you got me looking. Another great detail.
Your comment made me remember a quote I heard on Glenn Beck’s show (when I use to listen to him) a while back. He had some guy from Britain on his show and they were talking about the political climate in the EU and I wrote down what the guy said because I thought it was profound. He said “public opinion is seen in the EU as an obstacle to overcome, not as a reason to change”.
"Let's cut between us a sensible tariff free deal and thereafter recognize that the United Kingdom will be your friend - that we will trade with you - we will cooperate with you - we will be your best friends in the world. But do that, do it sensibly and allow us to go off and pursue our global ambitions in the future. Thank you."
Farage made a huge mistake by suggesting the EU reserves the power to allow any control over the UK - whatsoever. The additional suggestion that the UK would cooperate implies the migrant crisis will continue unabated. Whose side is Nigel on now?
Great speech. Soulless beurocrats snorting in the background.
