"If there's no endorsement, then I would not invite them to speak," Trump said of other top Republicans in an interview with the New York Times.

I really did not believe that— but this is so blatant and that lie at the Iowa Caucus that Dr. Carson dropped out when he absolutely DID NOT. That is pretty seedy stuff. What does Cruz want to speak about at our convention? Tupperware?
So it would seem to be simple. Donald should tell Ted, you swore it, you stand by it or you face the consequences.
“There is a way of letting people know they have become irrelevant that isnt self centered and snotty.”
But no matter how much, or well, Trump does something, it will always be narrativized (yes, I think that is an appropriate and needed verb) by the media unfavorably.
I want Paul Ryan to speak so he can be booed off the stage.
A Tupperware bowl full of Cheetos crumbs.
I hope they come up with an amicable way of going forward after their squabbling. Donald isn’t one to want to make permanent enemies when he doesn’t need to.
He’ll lecture us on constitutional conservatism, no doubt. And Levin will swoon.
I will tell you what I think. ( I do not know this) .I think it was a trick on Trump. I don’t think the RNC got around to getting that pledge signed by anyone but Trump. We can ask Dr. Carson and Gov. Huckabee and Chris Christie— Let’s do!!
But they were on TV holding their lying hands up— We all remember!!
And so what. It looks like Trump has found a sweet spot for getting around even the media liars.
More and more, he seems to be in a position where he can chill a bit. Let the liars’ lies finally collapse on them. Taking the lies TOO seriously can prolong their life.
"If there's no endorsement, then I would not invite them to speak," Mr. Trump said in an interview
The convention has a series of speakers. Some will introduce others, some may invite other to speak on their beahlf. All Trump is saying is that he won't invite these two to speak. That is not the same as saying these two would be totally denied speaking positions at the convention.
The NYT article has no context either. I have no idea how to take the remark, other than speculation on my part.
“The sad thing is, Ted never had to let this battle be in the gutter.”
No, he didn’t, and many of us were shocked at how quickly he went negative on Trump.
For a man with such a (supposedly) huge intellect, he showed a lot of nastiness toward Trump that was ill-timed, and woefully bereft of strategic gamesmanship. He seemed to constantly seize the moment to take the low road, when he had a clean shot at Trump’s ideological and policy flanks.
Altogether, his performance as a contender was unskilled and impulsive. Although he was always able to masterfully wordsmith his statements, the meat of his attacks was usually petty and prone to boomerang on him.
I promise you that Trump doesn’t need Cruz or Kasick or any of these liars. He has this NATION behind him.
The Establishment’s only hope: Trump & me in a cage match. Sorry to disappoint — @realDonaldTrump is terrific. #DealWithIt

And so Trump is like the plumber who was called in when half the pipes froze and burst, when a fancy dress party had been planned in the building.
By all means Ted, have your constitutional conservative celebration. But let’s make it possible to survive, first. First things first!
So he can afford to cool it.
Good point!
>>>It is impossible to purge anybody from the party<<<
It seems they are starting to Purge themselves.
George “Turd” Will just jumped into the Punchbowl.
He couldn’t get his way so screws the Republican Party so he can help Hillary Win by default.
Trump’s VP?!
You’re wasting time with this; Ted Cruz is taking money from a Mitch McConnell super PAC and he has his lips solidly attached to the Bush criminal family’s booty.
“As Predicted Mitch McConnell Continues To Undermine Donald Trump Remember The Super PAC Spending ”
I Am Entitled Christian, Hear Me Roar In My Pride.
That does not fly; never did; never will till Jesus returns.
Well we certainly see whose allegiances are to what, and why.
Trump is unorthodox, but he isn’t unfriendly to classical American ideals. The GOP could live with him, if with bruised egos.
If Cruz was interested in seeing Hillary beat he would have endorsed Trump within a week of stopping his campaign. His behavior of fragging Trump from time to time indicates he wants a Hillary presidency more than a Trump presidency. Ted Cruz is not a man of principle.
