The taxpayer funded University of Arizona will become the first university in America to offer a transgender studies program.
The program is set to launch by fall of 2017, and will grant master’s degrees.
The school's program will focus on sex, gender, cultural issues, political issues, and the life experiences of transgender people.
This new program will be the result of the university’s Transgender Studies Initiative, introduced in 2013.
The school has also hired three new professors to teach in the program, and plans to hire a fourth.
"The three people who had been hired were all white, and we were really trying to prioritize hiring faculty of color," said Susan Stryker, who is in charge of the new program.
Stryker currently heads the University of Arizona’s Institute for LGBT studies. She is also an associate professor of women's studies.

What does one do for employment after graduating with a degree in transgendered studies? Aside from working for a private or government advocacy group, I don’t know.
“Another useless degree for our little snowflakes.”
Oh, maybe not useless.
Many trannies are employed as sex workers.
And there are slews of nonprofits filled with SJWs fighting for the dignity and rights of workers in the sex industries.
So now the tranny hookers who advertise in the back pages of the Village Voice will be able to advertise their Masters Degrees.
That will be so much better.
