As leading artists and executives in the music industry, we are adding our voices to the chorus of Americans demanding change.
Music always has been celebrated communally, on dancefloors and at concert halls. But this life-affirming ritual, like so many other daily experiencesgoing to school or church or worknow is threatened, because of gun violence in this country.
The one thing that connects the recent tragedies in Orlando is that it is far too easy for dangerous people to get their hands on guns.
We call on Congress to do more to prevent the gun violence that kills more than 90 Americans every day and injures hundreds more, including:

Billboard should follow its own advice and so promoting street rap artists.
You mean like “Cop Killer”. Rap songs like that. You know, Bros before Hos. Those kind of positive messages?
...so if I go and tell these rock stars/celebrities what I think of their gun grabbing, can I expect men with guns to come and ask me to leave?

Possibly their armed security will keep you from getting too close to actually voice your opinion. First amendment for them, not for you so much. At least not on a grand platform that they have.

1. Ban all Muslims from entering the country; deport all non-citizen Muslims and put surveillance on all citizen Muslims.
2. Go into crime-infested areas and take the weapons away from the gangbangers, petty criminals, Nazis, methheads and drug gangs.
3. Lock up anyone too nasty or crazy to be trusted with firearms.
4. Then come back, and we’ll talk about it, since the problem will be almost completely gone. But we’ll STILL say NO to licensing, permitting and confiscation!
