A police officer who was one of the first to arrive at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando has claimed he was made to wait while Omar Mateen wandered around the club gunning people down.
The FBI said this week that police first responders 'engaged the shooter' inside the club at 2.08am but Officer Brandon Cornwell said he had been told to wait for a SWAT team to arrive.
It is known that Mateen, who was heavily armed with an AR-15 assault rifle and a handgun and was feared to be carrying explosives, had an exchange of fire with a security guard when he first arrived at the LGBT club, which was holding its regular Latino night.

Mixed bag. Each commander has total discretion. Post-Columbine, many commanders order quick engagement.
I do NOT think this was a hostage situation. If anything, people were hiding out in the bathroom. The shooter came in and shot them. What part about that story fits the hostage narrative? I think the hostage story was made up by the police/FBI to cover their butt for not proceeding sooner.

The FB”I”, DH”S”, the White Mosque, and the complicit
ever-lying hopefully-indicted EXEMPT GOP are responsible
because they CREATED, FUNDED, ARMED, ENCOURAGED ISIS
and every Islamic terror.
And yet, by Hasan, NO ONE IS IN JAIL.
“He was not armed with an AR-15 and a handgun, he was HEAVILY armed with an AR-15 and a handgun.”
Actually, the Monolitic Marxist Media is WRONG. He did NOT have an AR-15. Instead, he used a Sig Sauer MCX.
For all that’s wrong with my city, NO WAY this goes on for three hours in Manhattan.
The street cops are too crooked but the emergency crews are some of the best.
It’s an outrage.
When seconds count, the police are but minutes / hours away..
RE:
The role of the police: Secure the Scene, deploy crime scene tape, mark locations of bodies, collect evidence. Dont expect the police to protect you under any circumstances.
And:
Per a Supreme Court ruling, 2005, the police are under no legal obligation to defend you, your life, nor your property.
In most jurisdictions, they will do their utmost to prosecute you through the criminal justice system if you live.
Yep
All buffed up with military haircuts and black guns hiding behind the car
They do best in overwhelming force and surprise situations
Against deranged people with butcher knives
There are brave cops willing to run in and save the day
There are also a lot of pumped bullies who high five when they kick ass over the weak and sick
I don’t think the quality of law enforcement personel is what it used to be
From my youth in 60s and 70s
“All buffed up with military haircuts “
The homosexual look.
When seconds count, the police are but minutes / hours away. That goes for the fire departments, too.
A couple of weeks ago, a thunderstorm cause a large tree branch to fall on our neighbor's garage. It crushed half to the roof and snapped a live power line. The current arced through the house and started a fire.
Even though we witnessed the incident and quickly called 911, by the time the fire department arrived (at least 10 minutes later) the house was fully engaged. This despite the fact the firehouse is less than 3 miles away.
In most circumstances, when an emergency arises, you're on your own.
Many individual policemen will risk their own life to protect citizens and eliminate the criminals, but the institution will almost always do whatever they can do to constrain the actions of the police. The system is built to add to the legal queue, not stop or eliminate crime.
Any time you’re at a potential shooting, please be considerate and bring chalk for the police to use when they arrive.
At least the cops got home safe that night.
Perhaps the order came from very high up. Once an action has started that has possibilities of being pretty major, perhaps at the federal level it was decided that there was political gain to be had by a really massive slaughter. That is not “false flag” but it would be a passive equivalent.
