European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker today dismissed Mr Camerons eve-of-referendum pledge he will push for changes to migration rules if the UK stays in the EU beyond the historic referendum in less than 24 hours time.
It represents a major blow to the Tory leaders hopes of persuading still undecided voters to vote Remain with the promise of a further renegotiation of Britains relationship with Brussels.
In a newspaper interview today the Prime Minister said he can guarantee a Remain result will give him the mandate to push eurocrats for greater reform of the 28-country bloc.

LOL!!!! EMBRACE THE SUCK, Britain!! You have been SCREWED!
EU to UK: “Bow down a little lower!”
I see PM Cameron quitting on Friday morning. Boris Johnson or some other conservative will be PM.
No reform for you!
Actually, for the other five or six countries which are peeved about the way that the EU runs...it’s pretty marginal news about the future hopes of some changes.
Netherlands already has a NEXIT logo at the ready.
I’m really surprised they didn’t hold their tongues until Friday rather than throw some gas on the fire right before the vote.
BREXIT ping
Cameron caught lying his hindparts off...again.
Time to institute knot tying classes, should be enough Scouts and Sea Scouts to get the program started.
I’m claiming royalties if any Brit newspaper publishes this headline: FU from EU
Makes you wonder if they have rigged the vote and are confident of the outcome, doesn’t it?
“I want you to die Mr. Bond”.
Yeah, no ****. "Let's stay in, and that'll give us the leverage we need to... what a jackoff. Thanks PJ-Comix."European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker today dismissed Mr Cameron's eve-of-referendum pledge he will push for changes to migration rules if the UK stays in the EU beyond the historic referendum in less than 24 hours time."
While much of the local (REMAIN) media focus on the anti-immigration and traditional society disruption as the reasons for the anti-EU vote, it appears that the majority of the BREXIT proponents are more anti-Brussels, anti the unelected EU High Court, anti the over-bearing regulatory environment that characterizes the current EU.
A prime example, widely joked about, is the coming ban by the EU on the electric tea kettle for being an inefficient device contributing to pollution and climate change. The Brits still love their tea and their electric tea kettle.
The sad fact is that the EU Parliament, supposed to be the people’s defense against the bureaucrats, is an impossibly unwieldy body with so many disparate goals as to be useless. Thus the bureaucracy of the EU in Brussels is without much control and has the ultimate goal of completely federalizing all the member countries into something even less than US states.
Stupid and arrogant are two qualities that do not work well together.
Do you know, this really Surprises and Shocks me....
Just can’t believe that a British PM would be using inexactitudes the way this is alleging. (/S,H)
I’ll get a rope ,You find a horse. The Tree is over here.
Sort of shows the level of Brussels arrogance doesn't it?
you are right. so far as I can tell they have no way of enforcing their onerous regulations.
If they remain, the regs should just be ignored
