In an awkward interview with the Huffington Post, House Speaker Paul Ryan threatened to sue Donald Trump if he were to ban Muslim immigration or build a border wall with Mexico. Considering the current track record of suing Obama over abuses of power, this is little more than a confession of impotence. And yet its deeply troubling that a top Republican is willing to go to such lengths to fight for Muslim migration or for that matter illegal immigration in general.

Ryan and Cruz sitting in a tree
One took the shot
The other slit free
T-Y-R-A-N-N-Y .......
Ryan is Boehner II.
It seems to happen to all of them - just too much money Remember some of these folks who were the energetic conservatives.
How about this - Remember Empower America
Ryan worked for these folks. I sometimes wonder if there was something that unholy was formed out of that group - I recall Limbaugh was a big advocate or at least they were advertisers on his show.
It turns out it was all hollow rhetoric as Ryan was in there learning how to fleece us Big Time.
Ryan and Kasich - both were supposed to be our big budget guys -- look what happened to them.
Remember how pissed Kasich was when Clinton would lie to him.
What the heck happens is right.
He’s bought and paid for by the Globalists in the Chamber of Commerce. Their words will keep coming out of his mouth for as long as their checks keep flowing into his campaign wallet.
>>Cruz sitting in a tree
T-Y-R-A-N-N-Y .......<<
...That’s what makes you cra-a-zy.
Cruz is a false flag candidate, lots of this conservative media is. Keep us busy keep us thinking what we believe matters - go to work pay taxes - meanwhile progressive victory after progressive victory.
We know Trump is not part of it do to the extreme reaction against him. Which in my book alone is reason for total support.
They have billions (maybe trillions) of dollars invested in open borders globalism. They will NOT get behind this no matter what.
Exactly right. He’s a politically corrected and vain tool. If you feel comfortable talking to HuffPo and taking money from Tim Cook, uhh, that says something.
Just another government worker.
“The fact that he was giving the time of day to the Huffer Post says a lot. Whos next, Salon?”
I don’t know if Trump has done HuffPo or Salon but he’s given time to basically anyone with a microphone. The problem isn’t the venue - it’s the content of the message.
“What the heck happens is right. “
Money, power, and the grown-up version of being invited to sit at the cool kids table in the lunchroom (swank parties at all the right places).
Right there demonstrates our problem - these people aren't are friends. Its just tough to let go and see they've (Cruz and Ryan) been part of the same scam.
Cruz is a huge conservative friend of the USA? - where the hell is his support of Trump.
Cruz is proving true everything negative said about him. Although his support doesn't matter anyhow. Nobody really gives a damn what Ted Cruz says as it doesn't matter
He is corrupt. You can assume that there is Saudi money involved.
I haven’t the least doubt in my mind.
He isn’t alone in this. A good number of our politicians have accepted money or partnerships or investment opportunities directly or indirectly. It will never show up anywhere until they leave office and set up their foundation.
The Saudis have so closely aligned their interests with ours that mostly you can take their money with no crisis of conscience. Only occasionally do they actually demand anything in return, like when they need military help, or when they need us to vote the right way on muslim immigration.
and lets not forget the blocking of the road by Cruzers in New Mexico.
I read his statement. He didn't blame Trump for the attack, which would have been silly. He criticized him for making statements that we were spending too much on NATO, and that weakening that alliance sends an 0bama-like message in these times when the West is facing terror attacks.
A whole bunch of Trump supporters, by the way, like Trump because he doesn't favor what they call "neocon" internationalism where America is the world's cop. I think there's something to be said for both that point of view and Cruz's. But Cruz said nothing to blame Trump for the attack.
Is he still winning in the polls?
You said it best—
+1!
$1.5 million$ per year is what happened.
Everybody has a price.
The hidden RINO came out.
If this SOB even suspects he has a chance to be nominated and elected in 16 or 20, I've got news for him. I would not vote for this scum bag if he were running against Obama for a third term. Nothing but a two faced sniveling Quisling. And that is how I feel about him on a good day.
‘The problem isnt the venue - its the content of the message.’
It’s a combination of the two. If Ryan had gone to the enemy camp and told them what a stellar candidate we have, he wouldn’t be accused of treason. It’s going to the enemy for the purpose of undercutting our candidate that earns Ryan his traitorous status.
If he were truly as smart as his supporters repeatedly claim him to be, he wouldve immediately endorsed Trump, just after exiting/suspending (whatever he did) his campaign. It wouldve gone a long way to help erase the nonsense his campaign pulled in IA and the delegate nonsense.
Not only did Cruz not endorse he deliberately poisoned the well with his hysterical tantrum press conference on the day he “suspended”. That was as clear a green light as possible to his supporters to continue the never Trump nonsense.
