John Kasich and two other prominent Republicans said on the one-year anniversary of Donald Trumps announcement speech that they wont endorse him for president.
Kasich, who ran against Trump in the primary, was asked on MSNBC Thursday about the pledge he signed saying he would support the eventual nominee. Its painful, the Ohio governor said, NPR reports. Look Im sorry that this has happened. Well see where it ends up. Im not making any final decision yet, but at this point, I just cant do it.

Ohio Ping!
Thanks, Pontiac
Kasich loses my vote for governor....
He’s another snowflake like his girl friend Lindsey Graham.
Yup, and I hope Trump destroys their careers in whatever capacity possible.
Do they prefer Hillary?
It’s time we put an end to the GOPe. I see no difference between them and the dems.
Kasich’s word is no good. Look, the guy stood up for his friend murdering an innocent intern. Got the hell out of Dodge, didn’t say ANYTHIHG he knew to the cops. He is not a good person.
I’m not sure that Condit murdered the young woman, but he withheld information for his own benefit, and that stymied the investigation.
I’m sorry folks, IMO Donald Trump didn’t defeat most of his opponents in the policy realm or by exchanging ideas. Again IMO he bludgeoned them until they quit or until they were no longer viable candidates. It worked and Mr. Trump will be the nominee, following the Convention but to expect all of his opponents to forgive and forget is unrealistic IMO. Hell, some of you Freepers around have been carrying around torches for maltreatment or perceived slights for years, maybe approaching decades and you really think people that had enough ego and delusions of grandeur to run for POTUS are just going to kiss and makeup? When you go personal you run the risk of burning your bridges. You can trot out all the cliches you want about the future of the Republic et al, but the bottom line is some candidates may never fall in line, and whether their candidate does or not some of those candidates supports won’t. The Donald Trump campaign had better start putting together some numbers on his likely voters and Clinton’s what the real numbers look like and if leading how to stay ahead and if trailing how to catch her. Finally, if those that are so put out are a large enough number to sway the outcome they better have a better plan than,..... what are you going to do throw away your vote!
Anyone that has spent very much time here knows those leaning Right have and will on ocassion cut their nose off to spite their face, I’m not sure that’s an option anyone should choose this time, but EVERYONE just can’t pass up the chance to just get in on more dig!
Just a few thouguts, rant off .
Men who can’t keep their word are useless.
FUJK. WE THE PEOPLE will carry him over the finish line.
They took the pledge, so they are proving that they have no character.
Oh, and yes, we should expect them to put country above their personal butthurt. So, again, they are proving that they have no character.
Oh, whoops, “allegedly.” Condit knew a LOT more than he was tellin’. Chandra went out, without cell phone or ID, which meant she thought she was meeting him.
And he had just given a news organization his timeline for the days surrounding Chandra’s disappearance. And we on FR on around 9/10/01 had just caught him in a lie. On her death afternoon, in his timeline, was written that he was being interviewed by someone. But that interview actually took place a different day. That noose was getting pretty close to Condit’s Adam’s apple. But lucky for ONLY him, while his fully waxed body was getting pretty flop sweaty, Mohamed Atta was packing his bag with his suitcase and his Koran...
I have to keep telling myself that the word of a career politician means nothing. It is a pleasant surprise when any of these pols honor their pledge.
They have no character but mostly they are corrupt beyond all imagination...and it is the fear of losing their do-nothing wealth that just rolls to them from selling out the country. They fear Trump will clean this up and en their unimaginable gravy train.
They are criminals and enemies of the people...And Kasich is in the middle of it.
Yes I’m glad not to have to worry about that now.
I’ve never seen a more wimpy bunch as I have this election season.
we need to start preparing to either vote out in primaries those sabotaging the party or to leave the party and start a new party but as it stands we know that those currently in leadership position could care less about the working class all they want is there cheap labor and to receive bribes from big business just like the Clintons.
“Im sorry folks, IMO Donald Trump didnt defeat most of his opponents in the policy realm or by exchanging ideas. Again IMO he bludgeoned them until they quit or until they were no longer viable candidates. “
Of course Trump won with ideas. What do you think was and is so popular with the GOP base? All the common sense policies that the base has wanted and the elites have refused - deporting illegals, putting America first, bring companies back, quit importing people who want to kill us.
The others lost because they backed the establishment’s agenda. Trump only bludgeoned them with his fresh ideas and by refusing to be PC and speaking the truth. If they couldn’t handle it, they’d never be able to handle Hillary. But that wasn’t why they quit - it was because voters didn’t want them.
