Yet, if you ask some bystanders in Brooklyn, they’ll tell you the gunman’s rampage had nothing to do with religion. That’s what filmmaker Ami Horowitz found when he asked New Yorkers who was to blame for Sunday’s stark death toll.
“I don’t think it had much to do with Islam, to be honest,” said one Brooklynite.
“I don’t think it was a terrorist,” said another.
Republicans and guns played a much larger role in the carnage, they argued.
“One hundred percent the Republicans.”
“Guns way more than Islam – way more.”

The city is a complete goner. There is no coming back. There is no path of recovery for NYC - even if you start talking about bombing it into ashes and rebuilding it. Just open a bottle of white-out and remove it from your map. It’s worse than radioactive.
To a New Yorker they think the idea that your bag IS NOT searched is completely ludicrous. They aren’t being tortured, they crave this lifestyle. They crave being able to brag about being mugged. They look forward to getting together with their miserable citymates so they can poke fun of anyone who isn’t them. It’s viper pit.
