One of the survivors, a guy named Alamo told the press "My first thought was, 'Oh my God, I'm going to die," Alamo said, his voice very quiet. "I was praying to God that I would live to see another day. I couldn't believe this was happening."

Why would he pray to a God he does not believe in to save a life dedicated to sin that God hates?
The same reason there are no atheists in foxholes. When life and death stare you in the face, your heart knows there is a judgement and a God.

There were a number of calls for people to pray for them, which I am very happy to do :)

And yet there are people who should know better, that claim that Allah is God.

He prayed to God because he believes. That seems pretty obvious doesn’t it?

But who will tell him. The press and all his friends and family will shower him with affection and attention. They will calm his fears and say that evil is good and good is evil. Where will he hear the voice that will show him the "narrow way"?
My children are just beginning to understand what I told them all of their childhood. If you go to evil places and evil befalls you, do not blame God. You had the choice to go there, you had the choice to partake of their sins, and you had the choice to leave.

My thoughts are awash with the ironic twist for innocent gays that have blindly worshiped the democrat party. For the most part gays across our Country have blindly supported the politicians that have ignored the threats coming from radical islam. The muslim faith does not tolerate alternative lifestyles making what happened in Orlando yesterday morning just a prelude to the slaughter coming soon to every neighborhood. (Obama is importing thousands each month from dangerous countries in the Middle East) By weakening our military and intelligence capacity and by opening the border gates to the hordes, the democrats have sold Americans out. Its time for the gay community to rethink their politics before they are eliminated.

Making him no different than any other lost person. If God was proud like we are NO ONE would be saved. I’m so thankful He loved us “while we were yet sinners” and sent Christ to die for us. Maybe this man will go on to believe in Christ and be set free...indeed.

My recommendation to this young man is to spend his new-found God-given Saturday nights hitting the books rather than other men.

That's why I can't sand all the “Pray for Orlando” shit going around on facebook. God is hated in this country especially by the left I don't know about the Gays. Since when (we) Pray. It is such hypocritical bull shit.

Believes what? You believe that God is One; you do well; the demons also believe and tremble. Doesn't mean he is saved.
The shooter believed in God also.

Hopefully, that moment was an impetus so now he can make a true judgement about the meaning of his life. This is what we should pray for him, that Jesus be made known to him, that he comes to know Jesus personally. Come, Lord Jesus!

He believes there's a God. So far so good. Now he needs to learn who God is and what he requires. I'll pray that he does.

You had the choice to go there, you had the choice to partake of their sins, and you had the choice to leave. Well said and I pray that they heed your advice. I too have imparted such things to my children. I once told a friend of mine, who always complained that God was pressing his thumb on her, that she needed to re-check the thumb print.
