YES, IT is going to be like this, Donald Trump said during a news conference Tuesday, after a reporter asked if he would be as hostile to legitimate scrutiny once elected as he is now. His honesty offered a bracing counterpoint to the pusillanimous Republican leaders who continue to insist that the reality-television star would be different once in office.

The editorial is bashing Trump but I enjoy their squeals. The establishment types have no idea that the words they use to describe Trump may seem negative to them but to the many outside of the beltway we see it as a positive. That is what they don't get about Trump - they very descriptions they come up with to portray Trump in a negative way is pleasing to his supporters.
This befuddles them.
Ah, does the little WA PO need a safe place? Little snowflake newspaper can’t handle the bully candidate.
They’re as out of touch as Cruz and Beck. Annnnd Trump’s numbers go up again!
The LSM seem to be retarded in the issues they value and need to have their butts soundly kicked on a regular basis.
MSM getting a well deserved and long overdue b-tch slap.
one of the things that impresses me about trump is that he understands that not everyone is a potential friend and when a opponent has a lot to lose that there is no negotiation. currently those attacking trump are the ones that have everything to lose with a trump presidency.
Made my day.
>> hostile to legitimate scrutiny
WAPO has its head up its ass.
So the Washington Post is upset Trump is making the media look like fools?
Well they deserve it after 8 years of toadying up to Obama.
And none of its screechings against Trump kept him from winning the GOP nomination.
He has a point the press is dishonest and partisan to a fault and most Americans agree with him.
Should he become President, it would demonstrate how irrelevant he has rendered the MSM.
I hope that Trump can find the right sort of advisors to put more substance on the skeleton of anti-elitism that he has put on display as the hallmark of his candidacy.
This has to be broadened and shaped into a historical counter-revolutionary movement.
We have had a revolution (in all western countries, not just the U.S.A., in fact the revolution is not quite as consolidated there as compared to either Canada or western Europe).
I see Trump’s hostile attitude to the mainstream media in that context. The media have been enablers of the revolution, together with academics and most establishment politicians. The revolution is essentially this — the proposition that an international elite represented by the United Nations and various other groups have the right (and the obligation as they see it) to overcome the governments of sovereign nations and make them enact legislation of their choosing to further an agenda of their choice.
That agenda is not coming from the ordinary citizens. Many of them (us) oppose almost all of this globalist agenda.
So Trump is starting off well on this project but we need to see a more formal declaration of intent — total and unconditional political war (non-violent unless challenged by force) against these elitist groups hiding in plain sight.
Conspiracy theorists talk about secret meetings and shadowy organizations. They may well exist but in reality, almost all of this revolution has been conducted out in the open and the shame is that many people have remained silent, or have “gone along to get along.” There is no reward for this, just slavery down the road.
I hope that these concepts are communicated to the liberal mainstream media. This should not be seen as just some personality clash or trivial spectacle — and even Trump himself can “up his game” on this front — it’s not just that we want the elites fired, we want them humbled so they never try this again.
Hey media, you mean you actually think people are going to side with you on this? LOL!!!
I suggest the editorial board of Wapo invest in some Binkies
and maybe a few comfort blankets, too.
Trump said he was going to call out the lying leftist RAT media, even from the Oval Office. That scared them so bad they’re trying to convince Americans that the truth would be a bad thing.
Yes!
Trump is quickly becoming the conservative’s and independent’s hero. The rest will come on board soon enough.
I’m now at page 337 of Trump’s 372 page book “TRUMP ... THE ART OF THE DEAL” It’s a great read, and given what I’ve learned from the book, Trump might very well become the most important US President in US History. One quick look in the book gives me these lines ... from page 293 ... “I like to keep every option open in life ...” Another line, from page 277, is ...”In any partnership, you’re only as strong as your weakest link.”
Go Trump!!!
That's not what was asked. They did not say "Mr. Trump, if we ask fair and reasonable questions will you be a meanie to us?" No, what was asked was something to the effect of "you are calling us liars today (on these reports that Trump basically stole charity funds he collected for vets, a lie), is that how it's going to be?" and Trump said "Yes. Yes it will be if you report dishonestly like you did this." All the press needs to do is be honest and there's no problem. But they know that's not going to happen.
So the Compost is lying again, of course. And thus proving Trump's point.
Hahahahah! Suck it up Libs. You deserve it!
I am glad all the sntire uniparty establishments and higher power folks are coming unhinged.
The purge will begin.
