Donald Trump has reached the number of delegates needed to clinch the GOP presidential nomination, securing his status as the presumptive Republican nominee and avoiding a contested convention, according to a delegate count released Thursday by the Associated Press.

I am old enough to remember that many of the people today who claim to be defenders of Reagan’s legacy were anti-Reagan in 1976 & 1980.
There is a great scene in the move “Song of Bernadette” where they mayor (who fought against Bernadette tooth and nail) is making an impromptu speech about how back in the early days it was he a Bernadette who stood alone against the world. A complete rewriting of history.

Trump will be well above 1400. Probably close to 1500. He should take just about all of the 303 delegates available on June 7. WTA’s in NJ (51), SD (29) and MT (27). He should get all of CA’s 177 delegates and will likely take every delegate in NM (24), so long as no one else gets to 15% there.
We need to encourage the remaining states to Vote Trump Strong! We need to take him over the top and make it indisputable!

To say I am exhilarated would be an understatement....
May be this country just might survive as a very special country.
Always depends on whom does the counting-—at best the bare minimum on a sunny day kind of achievement is met. It would be best to gather all the delegates in states yet to primary, anticipating manipulation before the seating of the convention, and challenges to the Trump delegates seated for the first-vote.
There are hundreds more delegates to be gathered; so, do not become complacent half-way to the finish line. Remember—too close a margin encourages fraud in a tight election.
