Today on Glenn Beck’s show, author Brad Thor advocated the assassination of Donald Trump:
"I am about to suggest something very bad…. With the feckless, spineless Congress we have, who will stand in the way of Donald Trump overstepping his constitutional authority as President? If Congress won’t remove him from office, what patriot will step up and do that? … I don’t think there is a legal means available. I think it will be a terrible, terrible position the American people will be in to get Trump out of office, because you won’t be able to do it through Congress.” – Brad Thor
Glenn Beck, who was already investigated by Secret Service agents before, replied, “I would agree with you on that.”
Thor tries to call this a “hypothetical asked as a thriller writer,” a thin defense to be sure.

Talk radio host Glenn Beck and best-selling author Brad Thor believe the only way to get a President Trump out of office is for a “patriot” to apparently kill him.
Appearing on Beck’s radio program this morning, Thor said:
I am about to suggest something very bad. It is a hypothetical I am going to ask as a thriller writer.
With the feckless, spineless Congress we have, who will stand in the way of Donald Trump overstepping his constitutional authority as President? If Congress won’t remove him from office, what patriot will step up and do that if, if, he oversteps his mandate as president, his constitution-mandated authority as president, I should say.
If he oversteps that, how do we get him out of office? And I don’t think there is a legal means available. I think it will be a terrible, terrible position the American people will be in to get Trump out of office, because you won’t be able to do it through Congress.
Beck responded, “I would agree with you on that.”

Cry sack Beck has for years blathered that only peaceful protests should be used against the communist left but easily sidles up to violence to take out someone on the right? Beck is a blathering idiot off his meds.
All that being said I truly fear for Trumps safety. If I were him I would hire extra security aside from the increasingly incompetent secret service. The leftist in both parties want him out of the way and the fascist in the Chamber of Crony Fascism concur.

Thor in his quote said what he was going to say was bad. That sorry excuse of a man, who I helped get rich BTW, knew exactly what he was doing when he said what he said.

They used the word "assault", which doesn't mean "killing" or "murder". Assasination is killing. "Assignation", which you are using, is a secret meeting, or tryst (if you are meeting your lover).
The article's writer is using "assault" when it is plain that Beck and Thor are talking about killing Trump --- as a "patriotic act". That would be assasination.

It sure is interesting to adjust only a few words, and wonder how loudly they’d squawk if they saw it.

I got a stack of Brad Thor’s books at the library once - they sounded good. Read one, hated it, took them all back.
Thor enjoys the physical pain of his characters too much. He really revels in it. I wondered what sort of man that was.
Now I know.
How long before he blames those two useless tools for his/his “networks” downfall?
