s the left turning on its darling, Bernie Sanders? On Friday, Netroots titan Markos Moulitsas, namesake of the liberal Daily Kos, dropped a rhetorical bomb on the Bern, blaming the candidate for doing too little to denounce death threats received by the Nevada Democratic Party after Sanders state convention delegates complained they had received unfair treatment. The problem isn't Bernie Sanders' supporters, Moulitsas wrote. It's Bernie Sanders himself [He] refuses to forcefully and unambiguously reject that violence, instead rationalizing and explaining it away with a mix of grievances and outright conspiracy theory.
Actually, Sanders hasnt lost much support among his most avid supporterswho do not include Moulitsas, a sometime critic. What we are seeing, however, is that its no longer taboo in liberal circles to attack Sanders as he drags out the nomination process at a time when many are itching to turn their fire on Donald Trump. And if his reputation in the party is being damaged outside his base, that will make it harder for him to extract concessions from Clinton regarding the platform and party nomination rules at the convention.

Clinton lap dogs are now yapping at Bernie Sanders.
This article should be put in the Planted Stories Hall Of Shame.
But they have no shame.
Didn’t our side use this same tactic against trump? Blaming him for disruptions at his rallies?
Another example of the uniparty trying to keep their power.
The dems are in damage control mode regarding Bernie. Let’s hope they fail.

Claim no chairz were thrown
A lot of people blamed Trump for the violent attacks on his supporters by paid thugs.
The media reported this over and over. So did the Washington establishment types.
The word has gone out from the Clintons. Sanders must be destroyed.
Bernie won’t know what hit him.
The wildcard is what will his supporters do about it.
“A lot of people blamed Trump for the violent attacks on his supporters by paid thugs.”
I saw a lot HERE do that, and then suddenly get quiet or double down when it was proven to be staged.
Good!
It only helps to alienate Bernie’s base from Hillary and the DNC.
exactly.
Should Bernie be required forced to apologize for something that never happened???
This will only increase Sanders’ support. In an election of rebellion and fury at the Establishment [yes, it’s on both sides; Sanders wouldn’t be doing so well otherwise] voters don’t like seeing the outsider fragged. (Although Sanders is a career DC pol, he’s still an outsider compared to Hillary.) Watch Sanders’ support grow even stronger.
Do you smell the BERNing of the Democratic Party? They’re desperate in the media and the Democrat establishment to get rid of Bernie, but like their counterparts in the GOPe they’re horribly misreading their electorate within their own party. Have fun in Philly folks!
Pass the popcorn, this fight between Hillary and Bernie is going to be fun to watch all the way to the convention. Here’s hoping they both tear each other down.
I feel an Arkanside coming on. Duck Bernie!
Yeah.
Hillary! told her media to start cutting his throat.
And they obeyed her orders.
I think Bernie will benefit from the Democrat version of the "Trump Effect" - the more the DNC tries to take down Sanders, the more his popularity will increase, and the resolve of his base will grow that much stronger.
Fake claims of death threats are a classic form of passive-aggressive behavior. It is basically cry-bulling. The aggressor poses as a victim.
Wait a minute. When Bernie fans were threatening violence to Trump and Trump supporters, it was Trumps fault and the fault of his extremist, hateful supporters.
Why now is it Bernie’s fault? They were just doing what they do best.
