PASCO Donald Trump has all but sewn up the GOP presidential nomination. But as thousands of Washington Republicans converged on a rodeo arena for their state convention over the weekend, the gathering didnt look like a political party yet united behind a Trump-led ticket.
Red Ted Cruz T-shirts outnumbered Trump ball caps on the convention floor at the TRAC Center, and supporters of the Texas senator won 40 of the 41 elected delegate slots for the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this summer even though Cruz has dropped out of the race.
...snip...
Amid talk of Republican unity, pockets of the Never Trump movement remained on the convention floor. The Cruz supporters said they wont unite behind a man they view as unprincipled and dangerous.
Steven Wilson, a delegate from Normandy Park wearing a star-spangled cowboy hat, said he will write someone in on the November ballot rather than vote for Trump, whom he described as a narcissist whos flip-flopped so many times you dont know whether you can trust him.
Standing next to him, Alex Binz, a teacher from Kirkland, said he is worried enough about Trumps fascist streak to actually vote for Hillary Clinton. God help me, he said, rolling his eyes and leaning backward at the previously unthinkable prospect.
At least with Clinton, Binz said, youd know what you are getting. One of them is crazy in an expected way. The other is crazy in a totally unexpected and totalitarian way.

My question. . . who made all the money from the Cruz T-Shirts?
No idea....Republican campaign funds? Cruz campaign fund? Someone’s personal profit?
Definately worth exploring
I guess you need to ask Cruz's Campaign Financial Manager that question.. What was his name again? Oh yeah, Neil Bush .
Who cares? By the time they finish voting it will all be over anyway.
I'm sorry. I thought I was posting a news article.
National Review is still pushing Cruz. Still calling him the better candidate. Completely ignoring the fact that he revealed himself as a liar, and is physically repellent with a piercing, intolerably nasal voice.
“and is physically repellent with a piercing, intolerably nasal voice.”

I don’t like the guy but he has the looks and voice that God gave to him.
.
You see, Trump got up at rallies, and spoke into a microphone. That’s just like a certain famous political figure back in the 1930’s, in Germany, who used to speak at rallies into a microphone. Don’t you read National Review?
And at these rallies, Trump promises that he’s going to do things. This proves that Trump intends to trample on the Constitution. Because Trump is promising to be a strong man. Get it? Strong man. Don’t you listen to Steve Deace?
Cruise is hiding the documents that would clear up a lot of questions about his citizenship. He is also a liar. And in 4 years he will still have the same repellent face, and the same intolerable voice.
These days ‘fascist’ mostly just means ‘white Christian male heterosexual’, one who isn’t perpetually apologizing for being born white and male, and for being Christian and heterosexual.
"No, I don't intend to send jackboots to knock on your door and every door in America," Cruz said

FWIW, I think if someone gets 20%, he gets delegates.
Thanks for the clarification. Good spin. :)
Someone explain what fascist streak Trump has. Accusations seem baseless. Examples?
You are falling for Left Wing Trumpet Bait, they want to keep the party divided
And God gave him the looks and voice adequate to some profession other than successful candidate for President.
Also, the birthplace and parents for someone other than a citizen of the U.S.
Great ... the likely candidate for governor (Bryant) won’t say if he supports Trump. At least Rossi will support him. Anyone know what Clint Didier thinks?
