‘America Was Never Great’: Home Depot employee’s hat sparks outrage

Customers at a Staten Island Home Depot were shocked to see one of the company’s employees wearing an “America Was Never Great” hat earlier this week.

Krystal Lake, 22, of St. George got political during a shift on Tuesday. Her twist on Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s slogan was immediately shared online.

Ms. Lake said the social media furor between those who said she correct, and those who thought she was both unprofessional and wrong, was unexpected.

Not a typical one, though. A lot of the black voters (and rural white dems) are part of the comprehensible "gimmedat" crowd. They simply want to translate political power into stuff.

Miss Lake is the college educated type who goes for Sanders, likely due to her "education". Even the hat is not something a southern black would wear, as even if their forebears were second class citizens and lower, they were still Americans. This one goes Marxist and wants to throw the whole thing out and go full Hugo Chavez.

Lesson learned: She handles dollar bills with great Americans on them - Jefferson, Franklin, Jackson, Grant. That is about as close to “American greatness” she will ever get with her closed, hate-filled mind.

If Home Depot collectively has half a brain, they won’t allow politics to enter their workplace. She’s PO’ed half the customers who saw her, and most of them won’t bother to complain, they’ll just go to Lowes or some other store.
