Ben Carson--who the Washington Post called the both best and worst campaign surrogate of all time--revealed that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, among many others, is on Donald Trump's shortlist for potential running mates.
[...]He had just explained to the reporter riding along that he wanted no role in a Trump administration when news arrived of a new poll naming him as the best liked of a list of potential running mates. Who else was on the list? he asked quietly, maintaining his usual inscrutable calm. The most favorably regarded contenders after himself, he was told, were John Kasich, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin and Chris Christie. Those are all people on our list, he said. Well, not you, Candy reminded him sharply. That the Trump

Ditto!
Trump will NOT be elected with Palin on the ticket.
We’ve seen that movie, too.
To: Maceman
Trump knows how to keep the opposition in complete turmoil.
It’s about time se had somebody like that on our side.

I really like Palin, but...
Lots of that going around FR lately.
To: SamAdams76
Theres no possible way Trump would select Sarah Palin as VP but...
But.
To: SaxxonWoods
From what Ive seen the short list is made up of everyone (and only everyone, except for Newt) who has run for President or VP in the last two cycles.
Or did Newt run in 08?
Wow.

I don't get the hysterical PDS of some conservatives. Those have fallen under the spell of the Propaganda Ministry.

Palin is damaged goods.
That your wish?

I love Sarah Palin, but...
FR has an epidemic of that going around.
To: BunnySlippers
Used to like her but no more. She is very polarizing.
If it walks and talks like a lib...
Polarizing, eh?

Sarah Palin would be an excellent VP (or President, for that matter). But...
But? Excellent VP and excellent President BUT...?
To: Resettozero
Sure are a lot of freepers who are carrying the water for the MSM that we all supposedly hate, and the gop, that stabbed us, and Palin in the back. Very sad to see.

Sure are a lot of freepers who are carrying the water for the MSM...
FR posters, yes, obviously. FReepers? Maybe once upon a time.
To: Maceman
I like Sarah. If I was convinced she would help Trump win I’d add her just because she would drive the media and the dems crazy.

Plz no.
Nothing against the woman, but she brings nothing to the table.
To: sargon
It's like they've actually bought into the left wing smears against Sarah Palin, and are willing to let them dictate Trump's VP choice. No, it's just that picking Palin would only make sense if he's worried about sewing up the FReeper vote.

She is polarizing.
Independent Women don’t like her.
I don’t want Tina Fey working that much.
She does little to enhance the draw of the ticket.
Trump has even said he needs someone that know DC, and who can help him enhance the draw. And, someone who could take over.
I don’t have any idea who that would be. But it doesn’t describe SP.
