Dr. Ben Carson confirmed five people on presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trumps list of potential vice presidential running mates in a recent interview.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 VP running mate to John McCain, was one of the five Carson said was on the list. The rest are all former 2016 GOP presidential candidates: Trumps closest competitor Sen. Ted Cruz, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. (Read more at source)

Thanks but I’ll let you know if I need your opinion and I don’t.
Sure hope you are right.
Yeah, I’m a big fan of Sessions, he’s probably the best choice in most other ways — but the Pubbies have 24 seats to defend in the Senate as it is, and loss of control would bring on at least two years of BS, and maybe lead to further losses at the midterms.
I’ve thought since Wisconsin that Kasich made a deal with Trump to stay in as long as Cruz did. That deal, I believe involved the VP slot. I’ve not seen anything yet to change my mind.
Kasich - as gaffe-tastic as Biden, shouldn’t be considered
Cruz - don’t think they can work together, better on the Supreme Court
Palin - bad idea, over exposed from reality show, too much baggage
Rubio - tried to past amnesty for illegal aliens, heck no
Chris Christie - meh
That I think she’d be capable of doing, even if it is just firing a crap load of EPA regulators and environmentalists working there.
I don’t believe it. Surely not Robot Rubio, an empty suit who supports amnesty and acts like a silly frat boy. I used to hope that Teddy Cruz would make the list but not after he unraveled and became hysterical, and his lies expanded.
Precisely
True words
With the ending of the caucus, it would be very interesting to see someone on FR do a big poll to tally up V.P. picks.
This list is anything but thinking outside the box. I would at least have liked to see the runner-ups from the 2012 primary on it, Gingrich and Santorum.
Why would he pick from losers?
Santorum is far and away the best pick.
*Has the legislative experience Trump wants.
*Has similar views on immigration and trade as Trump.
*Has experience being in both statewide and national campaigns.
*Comforts the Christian right base who were a major constituency voting for Cruz over Trump.
*Home state is Pennsylvania, a major battleground and is from western PA, bordering Ohio, another major battleground.
*Will not be a character who overshadows Trump on the campaign trail the way Gingrich or Palin could. He’s not that big an attention-grabber for the media.
A great episode.
Margaret Thatcher was a rare exception- the likes of which we will never see again.
And as long as we're on the subject of women in power; how about that idiot, Merkel, who has destroyed Germany?
A woman POTUS would probably pull/or some idiot would pull the 'woman card' every time she proposed something stupid that sensible, knowledgeable people were against.
And yes, I will vote for Donald no matter what. Let's just hope he chooses a qualified Conservative MAN for his VP .
I saw Carson on F&F this morning, and he said that Rubio was not being considered.
So, the cutting-away has already begun.
I am very happy to see Cruz is first in line - because I think Trump/Cruz is a dynamite ticket.
At one time I would have suggested Ted Cruz. Now I’m not sure. He really dropped in my opinion over the last month, stooped low for zingers. I was really NOT impressed and then some. I like Christy and Rick Perry.
Trump is laying rabbit trails for the press to blunder through. Nothing more than controlling his campaign’s narrative.
Mentioning Palin will make the most liberal of heads explode on-air.
Then it IS going to be Sarah!
Isn’t Marco Rubio a back stabber and a full fledged member of the CHEAP LABOR EXPRESS?
Sarah and some others are acceptable VP candidates like Jeff Sessions or Maine Governor Paul Le Page.
