Presumed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has promised to keep America safe. Now, he appears to have made a deal with “America’s Mayor” to help do the job.
The New York Daily News reported that a deal has been struck between Trump and former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani for Giuliani to head the Department of Homeland Security if Trump were to be elected.
“A secret deal has been struck by Donald Trump, and Rudy Giuliani would be head of Homeland Security,” an unnamed GOP insider told the Daily News.
I’d prefer Rudy Giulliani as Attorney General. He is certainly qualified! Have him go after the Clintons and 0bama
Exactly my take on it. News release? Mehh... Secret insider leak ahhh intertwining with a bit of intrigue.

As much as I respect Giuliani for his actions in the wake of the 9/11 attack, he is no friend of the RKBA.

Would have loved to seen Andrew McCarthy, but he seems to have TDS going on. Rudy as AG would have been my pick, but let that go....
I always though either Rudy or Ray Kelly - former NYPD Commisioner - would be great for this job.

I hope the task at hand is to dismantle the Dept. of Homeland Security and the TSA. Both are useless, bureaucrat infested, union shops. We have “intelligence” agencies out the ass in fedzilla who can absorb those duties.
I like Rudy for the most part, but what I want to hear is he will get rid of “homeland”, not keep it around for him to wield over.
