Washington (CNN) Sarah Palin will work to defeat House Speaker Paul Ryan by backing his primary opponent in Wisconsin, the former Alaska governor told CNN's Jake Tapper.
Palin said in an interview that airs Sunday on "State of the Union" that her decision was sparked by Ryan's bombshell announcement to Tapper last week that he wasn't yet ready to support Donald Trump, the Republican presumptive nominee. Palin endorsed Trump back in January.
"I think Paul Ryan is soon to be 'Cantored,' as in Eric Cantor," Palin said, referring to the former Republican House majority leader who was ousted in a shocking upset in 2014 when challenger Dave Brat ran to his right in a Virginia primary.

Trump will get people out to vote, one way or the other.
People are with him or against him. There are a lot of new people ready to vote in this election. Many are tired of the same old, same old, same old. The Democrat Party is full of the same old, same old.
Good for her. I went to this guy Nehlens website and he looks like a winner. Ryan must haved a death wish. But more likely Palin has it right that Trump is screwing up Ryan’s plan to run in 2020.
I hope the guy thanks her for her support... and wins the general in November! :o)

Ryan thinks, like Cantor mistakenly did, that unlimited amounts of money will guarantee his election win.
So we’ll have the Republican VP nominee of 2008 campaigning against the VP nominee of 2012. Bring. it. on.
And don’t forget Trump won Ryan’s district in Janesville.
And there’s not much political risk in flushing a Republican rep and getting a Dem in November.
