One of the major planks in Donald Trumps campaign platform, if not the top priority, has been a stalwart insistence that voluntary commerce and trade with other countries weakens Americas economy and costs American jobs. Moreover, he insists that he knows best how to manage it all in the best interests of America. Indeed, Trump has not only proposed slapping a 45 percent tariff on all goods made in China, and massive tariffs on other countries like Japan and Mexico, but he repeatedly declares that he will personally impose punitive taxes on Ford Motor Company if it follows through with plans to build a manufacturing plant in Mexico. He has also threatened punitive penalties against Apple Inc. if it continues making iPhones in China. It would seem, like Barack Obama, Trump has his own autocratic pen and phone. - See more at: https://www.conservativereview.com/commentary/2016/05/trump-the-globalist#sthash.ATV8Bnw9.dpuf
They’ll continue to be blind until they’re frozen out and marginalized.
>a lot of these Trump naysayers on the conservative side are going to do a complete 180 and say Not only was I wrong I was radically wrong
Nah, just like with Reagan they’re pretend they were always on his side.
I know, that’s what caught my eye...
One thing that Trump has done, and he’s not even President yet, is throw back the curtains these people have covered themselves with, and now we see what has been going on and what is going on...The reason they don’t want him in the Oval Office, but there are more of us American Voters than there are of them...it’s time to fight fire with fire!!!
This is the cat that wants the current seat-warmers in the House to re-open the convention to change the constitution.
No, Mark. I know your resume, and I like it. But he doesn’t understand politics at all.
Nor does he know the Liberal, progressive or the socialist / communist.
It makes me sick to my stomach and angry as hell. Boy, have we been betrayed.
You are absolutely right, he doesn’t know politics. But, he did sell a few books.
Hey Mark get back to yakking about your Article V fantasy. I don’t think trade is your strong suit.
Hey, Levin.....”Get off my phone you big dope!”
Levin was kooky before Trump, but the Don has a way of outing these people - it’s amazing, really.
former long time Levin listener here .....
I will never tune in to Levin again . I will never consider
subscribing to his new net TV channel . I will never quote or post his material on my blog and have removed ALL links to him or his shows .
Sorry Mark , errant positions have consequences . With me u r history...
Ils ont changé ma chanson
I rather intellectually light opinion piece. Like a supporter of no conviction who had to turn in a homework assignment.
My only comment would be his point on Trump not being a free trader. Trump is a free trader. A free trader wants to show a profit or a strategic transaction in order to make a bigger profit.
But American politicians trade in a different currency. In the past we offered lopsided trades for good will and valuable considerations in global politics and all that good will and valuable considerations have been all spent.
Now it’s about the money. Remove the politicians and send in the money men. Because I don’t like globalism, but if it’s happening, I want the U.S to be the one determining the terms of globalization.
Wheat........chaff.
I suspect some of these people will drop out rather than wake up. They have deceived themselves to that level > IMO.
Apparently everyone has their tipping point.
“Constitoooooooshun,”
Did crazy Mark roll his face in Cheetos yet?
I was just thinking that Mark Levin seems to have joined with Beck to form some sort of anti-Trump tag team.
Lost all respect for BOTH!!
Who wants to listen to someone who claims to be an expert and then turns out to be so wrong
*********
This, and that Trump loves his friends and despises his enemies are why they are fighting for Hillary. And I do include Rush in with the #Nevers. I’ve yet to hear him congratulate Trump or say he will vote for him.
I thought Levin would back the Republican nominee.
Why is that puke still doing that after Ted dropped?
