Despite being dogged by Bernie Sanders late into the primary season, Hillary Clinton is by all accounts virtually guaranteed her party’s nomination. But even as she gets closer to that goal, she still can’t shake the email scandal that has dogged her since March 2015.
If anything, her legal situation is more perilous than ever.
Item 1: Earlier this week, the Department of Justice apparently admitted that the investigation into the email scandal was a law enforcement proceeding, not — as Clinton has maintained — a review of classification procedures.

On its face, her conduct constitutes an intentional, ongoing pattern of significant national security breaches.
It matters not that Guciffer tapped into the info, or that 10 other sites elsewhere on the globe also did so; what matters is that she intentionally ignored the security requirements.

Could be. Hillary leaving the race would have to be for SERIOUS health issues. Legal or political/social issues will not force her out. Look what the American people put in office in 2008 and RE-ELECTED in 2012. The Republic is almost dead slain by “FREEBIES!”
Agreed. Biden holds blue collar men in place, denying Trump a needed constituency, and he also does well with black voters. Warren covers women and the entrenched public sector left. If Hillary can’t put Bernie away quickly, she’ll be offered a pardon to shut down the criminal proceedings if she goes away.

Ummm...I think Kerry may be a contender.
Its more basic than that. Security requirements aside, intentionally intercepting and destroying government property (her official e-mails) is a crime.
We have allowed the debate to center on whether or not classified information was involved...but the base line crime of stealing information is a crime. Of course she committed more crimes - but its curious the media never addresses the initial crime.
