Right now it is more of who I will not want rather than a pick. None of the 16 that have been running this year and not Newt. I have to think...

If Trump is an outside, then stick to it and choose someone who was not running.

I saw the interview, he was just being nice. Question was something like, Kasich is not open or interested in the job, but if he were... would you consider him? Trump was humble, sure, I like John, I'd consider him. All the while you could tell he has no intention of doing so! He just about won Ohio as it was...

He almost has to choose a woman.
Or a black American.

Agreed. He just smoked all these clowns. Be nice to them, and move along. There have to be Thousands of qualified people to fill the VP slot, and his cabinet. These GOP clowns need to crawl under a rock, and die.
As was stated already. Kasick: Hilliary with a Penis.

No one with even a whiff of Bushism. Bushism has to be uprooted root and branch. It will be hard to find a politician that meets that criteria, but there has to be at least one out there.

If we are lucky, this year will see the end of 0bama, the destruction of Bushism, and the crushing on the Clintons. It’s almost too good to be true, but I believe that it is possible.

Not Boehner or Ryan, but someone with very high level experience on how to get things done! Which keeps bringing me back to Newt!

My complaint is that he’s an insufferable twit with a profound superiority complex and is a scold. Then there’s the other problem: He’s a democrat.

Not me. I don't think he adds anything to the ticket. The help he provides in Ohio is offset by the damage he does to the brand everywhere else, where people are counting on Trump doing the things he said he would, and every one of those things are antithetical to Kasich's positions.

He's just playing nice for help in Ohio.

I wonder if some of you Trump supporters are stuck on stupid...

Do you want Trump to win ?

Kasich would be a very good pick...

There are millions of voting people who are scared to death of Trump, bringing Kasich onto the ticket would make them all feel a lot better about actually going out and voting instead of sitting on their hands at home. and screwing up the down ticket...and electing Hillary..

Their thinking is: Maybe Trump isn't the monster I thought he was, after all he picked a solid conservative mid-west guy who is reasonable and likeable...I like Kasich so maybe I should give Trump a second look....

Kasich also brings considerable clout to the ticket in experience in Congress, a Governor of a very well run state he turned around, a fiscal conservative...

Yes, Kasich has some warts, but in the big picture he can really help Trump understand how to govern, how to get things done in Congress, how to move the country forward, and he brings Ohio, which is a very important state...make or break important...

In real life Trump will not be King, he will need people like a Kasich or Session to achieve his and america goals...

“But the VP doesn’t really do much ... Except become president in 4 or 8 years.”

Yes, like Presidents Humphrey, Rockefeller, Mondale, Dole, Quayle, Cheney, Biden, ... It’s a mixed bag, at best.

I would stay home.

Right. Because Hillary as President is better than Kasich as VP.

For a moment I thought you were referring to Newt.
