The data compiled here on Breitbart News comes from PredictIt, a betting market that creates an almost free market interpretation of what might happen in a given political election.
The Texas senator had been above 50 cents But, after the (Kasich) deal, Cruz has crashed and despite two desperate measuresthe announcement of his vice presidential pick Carly Fiorina and the Pence endorsementhas not recovered.
Almost instantly after the Pence deal, Trump took a commanding lead over Cruz. While at one point on April 24 the markets had Trump under 40 cents, by midday April 25, the marketsin response to the Cruz-Kasich dealhad corrected themselves to have Trump at over 60 cents. Since then, the markets have only benefited Trump with just small upticks for Cruz that undo themselves moments later when he announced Fiorina as his running mate and when he received the tepid backing of Pence, Indianas governor.
Trump, with new polling showing him well over double digits ahead of Cruz in the Hoosier State, has now skyrocketed way ahead of the Texas senator thereand is widely expected by financial analysts to win the state on Tuesday. Heading into Sunday, Trump was close to 75 centsand he is now over 90 cents projected to be the winner.
The markets have really been ahead of the polling and ahead of the pundits, Rothschild said. But your best bet for accurate and reliable political predictions, it turns out, is actually the marketplace.
It appears as though Cruz is headed for an epic defeat on Tuesday in Indiana, If Cruz loses in Indiana, it is widely expect that Donald Trump will win the GOP nomination for the presidency outright before the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in Julyand that neither Cruz nor anyone else including Kasich will be able to stop him.

What the heck happened to Carly falling down like she was on a banana peel. How did Ted and Heidi not see that instantly?
“I expect him to go to California and get the religion of the illegal and call for legalization and THEN do something about the border.”
The dirty little secret is, that’s been Ted’s position on immigration all along.
Remember that he wants us to “have a conversation” about what to do with the 40 million invaders *after* the border is ‘secured’.
“...does it appear to you that Fiorina is in the drivers seat? It sure does to me.”
For what it’s worth, Fiorina is an experienced executive. Ted isn’t. That may explain why she seems to be taking charge. It’s what executives do.
Really, OKSooner -- Cruz is acting like a desperate man. He's taken to describing tomorrow's primary in Indiana as a battle of Good vs. Evil. (Of course, The Donald is the evil, The Ted is the good.) How over the top can one go??? Plus he's got Heidi running around, describing her husband as a Latino "immigrant." YIKES!!!! This is totally NUTZ. If Cruz is an "immigrant," then how can he possibly be eligible to run for president in the first place???
FWIW, I believe that Ted Cruz is toast. Good riddance. He is a smarmy, manipulative flimflam man and his true colors have started to show.
Thanks so much for your great observations, OKSooner.
Yes, sometimes they are.
In this case, he's just being an anti Trump shill. He knows it's possible to want war as a last resort, possible to not always be in the nation building business, and be entirely consistent with smashing ISIS.
He's just trying a hail Mary Carly.
I imagine Rush was just as insufferable today. I'll have to look up what he said on Biggirl's thread.
Man, oh man, I hope Trump wins Indiana tomorrow. Maybe these media shills will wake up Wednesday morning and try being sane for a change.
I will say this, her experience is a good fit there.
Because she did so well against boxer
I hear ya, brother.
Boxer in her home state, nobody would unseat that. However, the rest of the country isn’t California. Cruz probably thinks it’s a way to counter Hillary.
But after Indiana results come in today, that might be moot anyway.
