The data compiled here on Breitbart News comes from PredictIt, a betting market that creates an almost free market interpretation of what might happen in a given political election.
The Texas senator had been above 50 cents But, after the (Kasich) deal, Cruz has crashed and despite two desperate measuresthe announcement of his vice presidential pick Carly Fiorina and the Pence endorsementhas not recovered.
Almost instantly after the Pence deal, Trump took a commanding lead over Cruz. While at one point on April 24 the markets had Trump under 40 cents, by midday April 25, the marketsin response to the Cruz-Kasich dealhad corrected themselves to have Trump at over 60 cents. Since then, the markets have only benefited Trump with just small upticks for Cruz that undo themselves moments later when he announced Fiorina as his running mate and when he received the tepid backing of Pence, Indianas governor.
Trump, with new polling showing him well over double digits ahead of Cruz in the Hoosier State, has now skyrocketed way ahead of the Texas senator thereand is widely expected by financial analysts to win the state on Tuesday. Heading into Sunday, Trump was close to 75 centsand he is now over 90 cents projected to be the winner.
The markets have really been ahead of the polling and ahead of the pundits, Rothschild said. But your best bet for accurate and reliable political predictions, it turns out, is actually the marketplace.
It appears as though Cruz is headed for an epic defeat on Tuesday in Indiana, If Cruz loses in Indiana, it is widely expect that Donald Trump will win the GOP nomination for the presidency outright before the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in Julyand that neither Cruz nor anyone else including Kasich will be able to stop him.

It’s just gossip and not worth thinking about. Certainly not worth repeating.
There are just as many people who assert that Trump has been just as nasty and malicious.
That goes both ways.
Cruz may apologize but Trump doesn’t have it in him imo.
Cruz came out of the gate in NH with a lying ad he personally approved. The big lie in the ad wasn’t a partial truth. It wasn’t 99% false and 1% true. It was a total, complete, 100%, vicious, nasty, malicious, premeditated lie, concocted for the purpose of destroying Trump. Christian behavior, indeed.
You show me an ad Trump ran against Cruz based on a lie of this magnitude, and I’ll buy your moral equivalence.
I’ll wait.
Forever.

easy to do.

Trump will end up between 1265-1350 and if he really runs the table can end at 1400!
Cruz is a good guy but his campaign people have run the worst campaign in my history. Worst pick for VP ever. Worst speeches ever. Just needed lots of common sense and it wasn’t there.
I read a story about Cruz and he hasn’t changed any of his thinking since he was a boy in college. He is replaying the debates he won at Harvard. He is a snob as well.
“..Fiorina is in the drivers seat...”
Going up against Hillary, it would make sense.
What you said about Trump was not true. None of his ads have featured outright lies about Cruz. If Trump authorized a campaign ad about Cruz that was a total lie, I’d stop supporting Trump. But he’s never done that, nor would he. That’s part of the reason I support him.
There is nothing...no position he can take that can help Cruz at all now. He will be demolished in California, beaten in Oregon, Washington and New Mexico...and that’s not even counting getting destroyed in New Jersey and West Virginia. He’s in it now for the money and for the hope that Trump loses the general election, so he can have a prediction to hang his hat on.
His problem is that he is a terrible candidate and quite apparently an awful person, narcissistic and very much a sociopath. So the future is not his to grab. He’s going to get cast into the backwaters where he should be.
I would like to know who is advising Cruz, worse advise ever!
But Cruz's attacks against Trump have been hysterical and his campaign one of desperation.
True. Rove almost lost that election to Kerry!
He never did make public is physical records to show the ‘war wounds’ that he suffered.
Absolutely true! There was John Kerry, stiff, high brow, awkward and, to be blunt, simply unlikable, and Rove came way, way too close to losing. [Do you remember blue-blooded Kerry trying to do a hick-accent, when he said, “Can I get me a hunting licence here,”? Not even Hillary’s black accent is worse.]
Save for the Swiftboat Veterans, Kerry would have won. Shudder!
Economy barely treading water, Cruz brags he could recite Constitution, as Calgary school boy. And debate, too.
It informs thoughtful observers and voters, to look for more than mere ability to survive in halls of government, as a paycheck casher.
I don’t disagree, but he has no leverage with Trump. Trump has mentioned more than once, that he thinks Cruz is a good guy, and envisions them being friends.
I surely don’t think Trump will make any deals with the guy.
Cruz in the last week: ...Cruz pick’s Carly, wife says he’s an immigrant, and Cruz says Trump will bring riots.
Red meat for the main stream media, right?
And, all in the hope the media will buoy his numbers.
Hint: The main stream media HATES YOUR GUTS TED!!! It isn’t working.
Sounded less like an endorsement and more like an announcement of the candidate for which Pence would cast his vote.
