The Cruz campaign in Indiana is in a state of collapse and freefall. By the end of the weekend you can expect the narrative to shift, and the campaign will be pointing fingers toward California (June 7th) because their impending defeat is looming ever more dangerous.
Before getting to a recent poll, lets take a look at the current landscape. Senator Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina spoke at a campaign rally in South Bend Indiana. In a venue capable of holding more than 2,000 only a few hundred showed up...

My post election night math had 1,003 as solid – but virtually identical. So you can see, the probability of Trump earning the remaining 235 (1237 – 1002 = 235), knowing 51 of those are easily won in New Jersey (winner take all June 7th) makes the outcome of Trump winning enough delegates to capture the nomination a very high probability.
That crossing of the ‘inevitability factor’ threshold is what we have outlined as the most dangerous time. The angriest moment in the denial phase is right before the ideologically entrenched accept an inevitable outcome.

A simple answer as to WHY they are happy, Trump gives them real hope that this country can be saved.
I agree. I also feel that Trump's message is that we are all in this together with him leading the charge. WE will make America great again. Hillary and Cruz wants us to put our fate in their hands.

Until the week of the Illinois primary we intended to vote Cruz, but after what he did to Dr. Ben Carson, we decided to vote Trump.

Immmm apparently you have not been watching the republican side of the primaries. Trump has been drawing ever larger crowds.
At this point with the rent a thug groups damaging folks who stand in line to see Trump, I don’t think it is a matter of casually going to see a personality.
The electorate is fired up. Cruz has been doing very poorly for a long time. He started off by taking the South for granted. That led to him being behind from the get go. The talk early on was that Trump wouldn’t do well in the South ut would maybe make it up else where. The likely folks who were ‘supposed’ to do well in the South were Bush, rubio, Cruz, and maybe Carson.
Trump proved them all wrong. He continues to do so where people are actually allowed to vote.
I know that Cruz die hards think he can delay Trump and then win on a second or third ballot. As much as that strategy may have made sense to some one, it is NOT working.
I don’t know who convinced Ted that this was the way to go but it is the way he campaigned from the start. He played not to lose. Tough toenails. He’s losing and he can’t believe that “that gut” is beating him

Don’t be a loser by voting for this Cruz loser. Look at the half empty room. Does that remind you of anyone? Remember Jeb Bush’s “crowds”?
When Bernie was on a winning streak winning 9 states on a row, Hillary got the majority of the delegates.

Yup. People’s votes don’t count on who gets the 700 super delegates on the Dem side... and there were suppose to be 6 coin flips in Iowa that she miraculously won. — What I really don’t want to see is a Hill/Bern ticket. Crossing my fingers that don’t happen!

Cruz is going to get schonged in Indiana. He needs to pull out the next morning but because he is a screwball he will attempt to stick around til June 7th so he can burn the house down. If Cruz does not drop out he is going to ruin whats left of his political career and I will not be shedding any tears for the Ahole.
The only thing predictable from Red State is their constant Never Trump BS posing as a poll or real news!

It is still a nail-biter for me. I really want Trump to win Indiana. I will really be disappointed if he doesn’t.
