Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) criticized Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz for selecting former Hewlett-Packard executive Carly Fiorina as his running mate, arguing the pick shows the Texas senator has “no judgment whatsoever.”
Fiorina challenged Boxer for her Senate seat in 2010, and lost the election by 10 points. Boxer effectively used Fiorina’s HP tenure against her, criticizing the former CEO for laying off thousands at the California-based company and moving many jobs overseas. The failed Senate campaign loomed large over Fiorina’s foray into the 2016 presidential race, which ended shortly after underwhelming performances in the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary.
In an interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Thursday, Boxer said Cruz’s decision to name Fiorina as his running mate should he win the GOP nomination was ill-conceived.
“She hasn’t held office, any office, be it Senate, House, state legislature, local government, not a minute’s worth, and her claim to fame is running a large corporation which she practically destroyed, Hewlett-Packard, the pride of California,” she said. “I think it just shows Ted Cruz has no judgment whatsoever by choosing her.”

I never thought that there was anything I could agree on with Barbara Boxer.
Fiorina didn’t have a chance against an incumbent Democrat female in California; she was the sacrificial lamb who by taking on the role kept a career politician from having to lose to Boxer.
Cruz picking a VP candidate before securing the nomination was a politically obtuse move, and Fiorina accepting was an even more obtuse move, and I say this as someone who voted for Cruz last month.

The choice of VP does raise questions. But it’s not Boxer’s call.

You must know by now that those Liberal Crap opinions are now considered “intelligent” on FR. Now when Barbara Boxer critizes whoever the Donald picks for VP, it will once again go back to being Liberal Crap, or not even be allowed to be posted.

Barbara Boxer, who has never worked a day in her life. She went from being a rich Marin housewife to being in politics. She got in as a “community activist” on some small issue, and leftism and money got her into the “never held a real job” category, where she has been ever since.
I don’t have to cite Boxer. I can cite my own husband who currently works for HP. I cannot repeat here the things that my husband says about Fiorina or what any of his co-workers say about her... well, at least the co-workers he has left. The majority of co-workers he has now can barely speak English as Indian or Spanish is their first language. HP is a shell of its former self. Thanks Carly, you witch.
