I believe that Rush is rich enough that money concerns are not his motivating factor in his desperate propagandizing for Cruz. Family, establishment ties, maybe even genuine belief in the guy, who knows what. But he's worth a few hundred million, and he doesn't have to do it for the money, so I don't think he can be threatened with money and employment. His employers lose a lot more by losing him than vice versa. And he can make as much, if not more, by signing elsewhere or going to a subscription model. Hell, he could start his own network if he wanted, and he would do better than Stabby.
He's like a lot of dead end Cruzers right here in this very site, people who were formerly respected and now shill for Cruz night and day even though people like us keep trying to make them see the light.

Rush was so condescending, snarky, rude and downright mean spirited, I had to shut him off. I know I've posted before, that up to a couple of months ago, I would never even consider shutting him off. But, he has become so unlistenable, I have to. I've even cancelled my subscription for 24/7, which I've posted about here.
I don't know what's going on in Rush's life, but something is terribly amiss. He's losing listeners by the droves. That's just my opinion. I'm basing my opinion on what I'm reading here on FreeRepublic.
I would always enjoy reading this thread, and at times, commenting. Of course, I listened to his show daily. Come 12:05 I would really start enjoying the day listening to him. Not anymore. Sad!

As time has worn on, Rush has been more and more blunt about Limbaugh without actually stating his support for Cruz.
But early on, Rush really liked Trump's insurgency.
